Get my chariot ready!” King Joram commanded. Then King Joram of Israel and King Ahaziah of Judah rode out in their chariots to meet Jehu. They met him at the plot of land that had belonged to Naboth of Jezreel.King Joram demanded,“ Do you come in peace, Jehu?” Jehu replied,“ How can there be peace as long as the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother, Jezebel, are all around us?”

So Jesus went with them. But just before they arrived at the house, the officer sent some friends to say,“ Lord, don’t trouble yourself by coming to my home, for I am not worthy of such an honor.I am not even worthy to come and meet you. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed.

The man replied,“ How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him.

As Peter entered his home, Cornelius fell at his feet and worshiped him.But Peter pulled him up and said,“ Stand up! I’m a human being just like you!”
