So Naaman told the king what the young girl from Israel had said.

Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said.

So Naaman went in and told his lord,“ Thus and so spoke the girl from the land of Israel.”

So Naaman went and told his master what the girl from the land of Israel had said.

Someone went in, and told his lord, saying,“ The maiden who is from the land of Israel said this.”

Finally, they said to each other,“ This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.”So they went back to the city and told the gatekeepers what had happened.“ We went out to the Aramean camp,” they said,“ and no one was there! The horses and donkeys were tethered and the tents were all in order, but there wasn’t a single person around!”Then the gatekeepers shouted the news to the people in the palace.

But Jesus said,“ No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.”

Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you.Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.

The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone,“ Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?”

He found Philip and said to him,“ Come, follow me.”Philip was from Bethsaida, Andrew and Peter’s hometown.Philip went to look for Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth.”“ Nazareth!” exclaimed Nathanael.“ Can anything good come from Nazareth?”“ Come and see for yourself,” Philip replied.
