Now when the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha,“ My father, shall I kill them? Shall I kill them?”

以色列王见了他们，就问以利沙说：“我父啊，我可以击杀他们吗？”

When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha,“ Shall I kill them, my father? Shall I kill them?”

The king of Israel saw them. So he asked Elisha,“ Should I kill them? I need your advice. You are like a father to me. Should I kill them?”

As soon as the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha,“ My father, shall I strike them down? Shall I strike them down?”

When the king of Israel saw them, he shouted to Elisha,“ My father, should I kill them? Should I kill them?”

When the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha,“ Should I kill them, should I kill them, my father?”

Then the king of Israel when he saw them, said to Elisha,“ My father, shall I kill them? Shall I kill them?”

And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite them? shall I smite them?

When the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha,“ My father, should I kill them? I will kill them.”

And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite[ them]? shall I smite[ them]?

When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha,“ Should I strike them down, my master?”

The king of Israel said to Elisha, when he saw them,“ My father, shall I strike them? Shall I strike them?”

And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said,“ My father, if the prophet had told you to do something great, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you,‘ Wash, and be clean’?”

So Hazael went to meet him and took a present with him, of every good thing of Damascus, forty camel-loads; and he came and stood before him, and said,“ Your son Ben-Hadad king of Syria has sent me to you, saying,‘ shall I recover from this disease?’”

And Elisha saw it, and he cried out,“ My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces.

Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die. Then Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over his face, and said,“ O my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and their horsemen!”

When those around Him saw what was going to happen, they said to Him,“ Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said,“ Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”But He turned and rebuked them, and said,“ You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village.

Then the men of David said to him,“ This is the day of which the Lord said to you,‘ Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, that you may do to him as it seems good to you.’” And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

Then Abishai said to David,“ God has delivered your enemy into your hand this day. Now therefore, please, let me strike him at once with the spear, right to the earth; and I will not have to strike him a second time!”

For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him get away safely? Therefore may the Lord reward you with good for what you have done to me this day.
