Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Arameans. So a seah of the finest flour sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley sold for a shekel, as the Lord had said.

Then the people went out of the city. They took everything of value from Aram’s army camp. So 12 pounds of the finest flour sold for less than half of an ounce of silver. And 20 pounds of barley sold for the same price. That’s exactly what the Lord had said would happen.

Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.

Then the people of Samaria rushed out and plundered the Aramean camp. So it was true that six quarts of choice flour were sold that day for one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain were sold for one piece of silver, just as the Lord had promised.

以利沙說：“你們要聽耶和華的話。耶和華這樣說：‘明日大約這個時候，在撒瑪利亞的城門，三公斤麵粉只賣十一克銀子，六公斤大麥也只是賣十一克銀子。’”

現在你的繩索雖然鬆開，不能綁緊桅杆，也不能揚起帆來，但到那時，許多擄物必被你們瓜分，甚至瘸腿的也能把掠物掠去。

列國啊！你們所擄掠的必被收取，像螞蚱收取禾稼一樣；蝗蟲怎樣為食物忙碌走動，人也怎樣在擄物上忙亂。

約沙法和他的人民就來掠奪敵人的財物，在屍首中見許多財物、衣服和珍寶。他們剝脫下來據為己有的，多得不能攜帶；因為掠物甚多，所以掠奪了三天。

於是耶和華在亞撒和猶大人面前，使古實人大敗，古實人就逃跑。亞撒和跟隨他的人民追趕他們，直到基拉耳；古實人被殺的很多，不能恢復強盛；因為他們在耶和華和他的軍隊面前被擊潰了；猶大人奪取了極多戰利品。他們又攻擊基拉耳周圍的一切城市，因為各城的人都懼怕耶和華。猶大人又把各城洗掠一空，因為城中的財物甚多。他們又毀壞了牲畜的棚，牽走了很多的羊和駱駝，然後回耶路撒冷去了。

我使我僕人的話實現，使我使者的謀算成就。我對耶路撒冷說：‘你必有人居住。’對猶大的城鎮說：‘你們要再被建造起來，至於其中的廢墟，我必重建它們。’

以色列人窮追非利士人回來以後，就搶掠他們的營房。

天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

“帶領大軍的君王都逃跑了，逃跑了；住在家中的婦女分得了戰利品。

你這毀滅人，自己卻不被毀滅的；你這行事詭詐，別人倒不以詭詐待你的，有禍了！你剛停止毀滅人的時候，自己就要被毀滅；你剛停止行詭詐的時候，別人就必以詭詐待你。

他雖然堆積銀子如塵沙，預備衣服如泥土，他儘管預備，義人卻要穿上；他的銀子，無辜的人也要瓜分。

神不是人，必不致說謊，也不是人子，必不致後悔。他說話，怎能不作？他發言，怎能不作成？
