以利沙曾经救活了一位书念妇人的儿子。他对那妇人说：“你和家人要离开这里去别处寄居，因为耶和华已决定使这里遭受七年饥荒。”

以利沙告诉那妇人（她的儿子曾被以利沙救活），说：“你和你全家要动身，离开这里，住在你可以寄居的地方，因为耶和华宣布了将有饥荒，这饥荒要临到这地七年。”

以利沙曾對兒子被他救活的婦人說：『你要起身，你和你的家要往可寄居的地方去寄居；因為永恆主已呼喚饑荒，並且那饑荒必臨到此地七年之久。

以利沙曾謂所甦其子之婦曰、爾與爾家、起往可居之地而居、蓋耶和華必使饑饉臨於斯土、歷至七年、

有婦人焉、以利沙曾甦其子、今告之曰、耶和華命必使饑饉、臨於斯土、歷至七載、爾與爾家、必當遷徙、隨爾所適、

昔以利沙甦婦之子、今告斯婦曰、爾與爾家皆起、往可居之地而居、蓋主命定於斯地、將饑饉七年、

Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,“ Go away with your family and stay for a while wherever you can, because the Lord has decreed a famine in the land that will last seven years.”

Elisha had brought a woman’s son back to life. He had said to her,“ Go away with your family. Stay for a while anywhere you can. The Lord has decided that there won’t be enough food in the land. That will be true for seven years.”

Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,“ Arise, and depart with your household, and sojourn wherever you can, for the Lord has called for a famine, and it will come upon the land for seven years.”

Elisha had told the woman whose son he had brought back to life,“ Take your family and move to some other place, for the Lord has called for a famine on Israel that will last for seven years.”

Elisha said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,“ Get ready, you and your household, and go live as a resident alien wherever you can. For the LORD has announced a seven-year famine, and it has already come to the land.”

Now Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying,“ Arise and go with your household, and live wherever you can live; for the Lord has called for a famine, and it will indeed come on the land for seven years.”

Then Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying,“ Arise and go, you and your household, and stay wherever you can; for the Lord has called for a famine, and furthermore, it will come upon the land for seven years.”

Now Elisha had spoken unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thy household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for Jehovah hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

Elisha said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,“ Get ready, you and your household, and go and live as a foreigner wherever you can. For the Lord has announced a seven-year famine, and it has already come to the land.”

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

Now Elisha advised the woman whose son he had brought back to life,“ You and your family should go and live somewhere else for a while, for the LORD has decreed that a famine will overtake the land for seven years.”

Now Elisha had spoken to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying,“ Arise, and go, you and your household, and stay for a while wherever you can; for Yahweh has called for a famine. It will also come on the land for seven years.”

我命令乾旱臨到土地、山岡、五穀、新酒、新油和地上的出產，也臨到人和牲畜，以及一切人手勞碌得來的。」

他命饑荒降在那地，斷絕日用的糧食，

基哈西在他們以先去了，把杖放在孩子臉上，卻沒有聲音，也沒有動靜。基哈西回去，迎見以利沙，告訴他說：「孩子還沒有醒過來。」以利沙進了屋子，看哪，孩子死了，放在自己的床上。他進去，關上門，只有他們兩個人，他就向耶和華祈禱。他上去伏在孩子身上，口對口，眼對眼，手對手。他伏在孩子身上，孩子的身體就漸漸暖和了。然後他下來，在屋裏來回走了一趟，又上去伏在孩子身上。孩子打了七個噴嚏，眼睛就睜開了。

士師統治的時候，國中有饑荒。在猶大的伯利恆，有一個人帶着妻子和兩個兒子往摩押地去寄居。

孩子長大，一日出去到他父親和收割的人那裏。

我要斷絕你們糧食的供應，使十個女人用一個烤爐給你們烤餅，按配給的定量秤給你們。你們要吃，卻吃不飽。

我對你們說實話，在以利亞的時候，天閉塞了三年六個月，遍地有大饑荒，那時，以色列中有許多寡婦，

那地遭遇饑荒。亞伯蘭因那地的饑荒嚴重，就下到埃及，要在那裏寄居。

以利亞就去，要讓亞哈見到他。那時，撒瑪利亞的饑荒非常嚴重。

住在基列的提斯比人以利亞對亞哈說：「我指着所事奉永生的耶和華－以色列的上帝起誓，這幾年我若不禱告，必不降露水，也不下雨。」

那隨後上來的七頭乾瘦又醜陋的母牛是七年；那七個空心，被東風吹焦的穗子也一樣，都是七個荒年。這就是我對法老所說，上帝已把要做的事顯明給法老了。

約瑟對法老說：「法老的夢是同一個。上帝已把要做的事指示法老了。

看哪，我既從稱為我名下的城起首施行災禍，你們能免去懲罰嗎？你們必不能免，因為我要命刀劍臨到地上所有的居民。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。』

那地有了饑荒，不是亞伯拉罕的時候曾有過的那次饑荒，以撒就到基拉耳，非利士人的王亞比米勒那裏去。

因為這是報應的日子，要使經上所寫的都得應驗。

大衛在位年間有饑荒，一連三年，大衛求問耶和華，耶和華說：「掃羅和他家犯了流人血之罪，因為他殺死了基遍人。」

耶和華要用癆病、熱病、發炎、高燒、刀劍、焚風和霉爛攻擊你；這些要追趕你，直到你滅亡。你頭上的天要變成銅，下面的地要化為鐵。耶和華要使那降在你地上的雨變為灰塵，塵土從天落在你身上，直到你被除滅。

於是迦得來到大衛那裏告訴他，問他：「你要國中有七年的饑荒呢？或是你在敵人面前逃跑，被追趕三個月呢？或是在你國中有三日的瘟疫呢？現在你要考慮思量，我怎樣去回覆那差我來的。」

他們又對法老說：「迦南地的饑荒非常嚴重，僕人的羊羣沒有牧草，所以我們來到這地寄居。現在求你准許僕人住在歌珊地。」

你撒在田裏的種子雖多，收的卻少，因為蝗蟲把它吃光了。你栽植修整葡萄園，卻沒有酒喝，也不得儲存，因為蟲子把它吃了。你全境有橄欖樹，卻得不到油抹身，因為你的橄欖都掉光了。

我必粉碎你們因勢力而有的驕傲，又要使你們的天堅如鐵，地硬如銅。你們勞力卻白費，因為你們的地沒有出產，地上的樹也不結果實。

將有大地震，多處必有饑荒、瘟疫，又有可怕的異象和大神蹟從天上顯現。

使肥沃之地變為荒蕪的鹽地，都因當地居民的邪惡。

內中有一位，名叫亞迦布，站起來，藉着聖靈指示普天下將有大饑荒；這事在克勞第年間果然實現了。

至於法老兩次做夢，是因為上帝已經確定這事，上帝必速速成就。
