Elisha said to him,“ Go and tell him,‘ You will surely recover,’ but the LORD has revealed to me that he will surely die.”

以利沙对哈薛说：“你回去告诉他说，这病必能好；但耶和华指示我，他必要死。”

以利沙对哈薛说：“你回去告诉他说：‘你一定会好。’但耶和华指示我，他必定会死。”

以利沙对哈薛说：“你回去告诉他说：‘你一定会好。’但耶和华指示我，他必定会死。”

以利沙对哈薛说：“你去告诉他，他一定会痊愈。不过，耶和华告诉我他会死。”

以利沙对他说：“你去告诉他说：‘你一定会痊愈的’，但耶和华指示我，他一定要死。”

以利沙對哈薛說：「你回去告訴他說，這病必能好；但耶和華指示我，他必要死。」

以利沙對哈薛說：「你回去告訴他說：『你一定會好。』但耶和華指示我，他必定會死。」

以利沙對哈薛說：「你去告訴他，他一定會痊癒。不過，耶和華告訴我他會死。」

以利沙對他說：“你去告訴他說：‘你一定會痊愈的’，但耶和華指示我，他一定要死。”

以利沙對哈薛說：『你去對他說：「你一定活得了」；但是永恆主指示我他還是一定死的。』

以利沙曰、汝往告之曰、爾必愈、然耶和華曾示我彼必死、

以利沙曰、爾往告於王、此疾不致殞命。雖然、耶和華曾示我、王必薨。

以利沙謂之曰、爾往告王曰、爾病能愈、雖然、主曾示我、彼必死、

Elisha answered,“ Go and say to him,‘ You will certainly recover.’ Nevertheless, the Lord has revealed to me that he will in fact die.”

Elisha answered,“ Go and tell him,‘ Yes. You will get well again.’ But the Lord has shown me that he will in fact die.”

And Elisha said to him,“ Go, say to him,‘ You shall certainly recover,’ but the Lord has shown me that he shall certainly die.”

And Elisha replied,“ Go and tell him,‘ You will surely recover.’ But actually the Lord has shown me that he will surely die!”

Elisha told him,“ Go say to him,‘ You are sure to recover.’ But the LORD has shown me that he is sure to die.”

Then Elisha said to him,“ Go, say to him,‘ You will certainly recover’; but the Lord has shown me that he will certainly die.”

And Elisha said to him,“ Go, say to him,‘ You shall certainly recover.’ However the Lord has shown me that he will really die.”

And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou shalt surely recover; howbeit Jehovah hath showed me that he shall surely die.

Elisha told him,“ Go say to him,‘ You are sure to recover.’ But the Lord has shown me that he is sure to die.”

And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

Elisha said to him,“ Go, tell him,‘ You will surely recover;’ however Yahweh has shown me that he will surely die.”

Elijah said to the king,“ This is what the LORD says,‘ You sent messengers to seek an oracle from Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron. You must think there is no God in Israel from whom you can seek an oracle! Therefore you will not leave the bed you lie on, for you will certainly die.’”

So Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ Because God has enabled you to know all this, there is no one as wise and discerning as you are!

He showed me this: I saw the sovereign One standing by a tin wall holding tin in his hand.

The sovereign LORD showed me this: I saw the sovereign LORD summoning a shower of fire. It consumed the great deep and devoured the fields.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life– water as clear as crystal– pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb,

So I told the exiles everything the LORD had shown me.

But if you refuse to surrender, the LORD has shown me a vision of what will happen. Here is what I saw:

Next the LORD showed me four blacksmiths.

engages in usury and charges interest. Will he live? He will not! Because he has done all these abominable deeds he will certainly die. He will bear the responsibility for his own death.

The sovereign LORD showed me this: I saw him making locusts just as the crops planted late were beginning to sprout.( The crops planted late sprout after the royal harvest.)

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die.”

The sovereign LORD showed me this: I saw a basket of summer fruit.

Therefore this is what the LORD says,“ You will not leave the bed you lie on, for you will certainly die!”’” So Elijah went on his way.

When he came before the king, the king asked him,“ Micaiah, should we attack Ramoth Gilead or not?” He answered him,“ Attack! You will succeed; the LORD will hand it over to the king.”

Hazael said,“ How could your servant, who is as insignificant as a dog, accomplish this great military victory?” Elisha answered,“ The LORD has revealed to me that you will be the king of Syria.”He left Elisha and went to his master. Ben Hadad asked him,“ What did Elisha tell you?” Hazael replied,“ He told me you would surely recover.”The next day Hazael took a piece of cloth, dipped it in water, and spread it over Ben Hadad’s face until he died. Then Hazael replaced him as king.

Certainly the sovereign LORD does nothing without first revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.
