Then take the flask and pour the oil on his head and declare,‘ This is what the Lord says: I anoint you king over Israel.’ Then open the door and run; don’t delay!”

Take the container of olive oil, pour it over his head, and say,‘ This is what the LORD says,“ I have designated you as king over Israel.”’ Then open the door and run away quickly!”

Then take the vial of oil, and pour it on his head, and say,‘ Yahweh says,“ I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door, flee, and don’t wait.”

那些博士離開以後，忽然主的一位天使在約瑟夢中顯現，說：「起來，帶著孩子和他的母親逃往埃及，留在那裡，直到我再指示你，因為希律要搜尋這孩子並殺害他。」

藉著我，君王施行統治，掌權者立定公義。藉著我，首領們、高貴的人、所有公義的審判官統管治理。

撒母耳說：「我怎麼能去呢？掃羅聽到了，就會殺我。」耶和華說：「你可以手裡牽一頭小母牛去，就說：『我是來向耶和華獻祭的。』

「明天大約這個時候，我會從便雅憫地派遣一個人到你這裡，你要膏立他作我子民以色列的領袖。他將拯救我的子民脫離非利士人的手，因為我眷顧我的子民，他們的哀聲已經達到我這裡。」

因為人被高舉不是來自東面或西面，也不是來自曠野；因為神是審判者，他降卑這人、高舉那人；

尼布甲尼撒在位第二年，尼布甲尼撒做夢，靈裡煩亂，睡不著覺。

王啊，至高神把國度、權勢、尊榮和威嚴賜給了你先王尼布甲尼撒！

地上所有的居民都算為無有，他照著自己的旨意對待天上的眾軍和地上的居民。沒有人能攔住他的手，或對他說：「你做什麼？」

彼拉多就說：「你不與我說話嗎？難道你不知道我有權釋放你，也有權把你釘上十字架嗎？」耶穌回答：「如果權柄不是從上面賜給你的，你就對我沒有任何權柄。所以，把我交給你的人有更大的罪。」

耶西就派人去把他帶來；他面色紅潤，雙目清秀，樣貌英俊。耶和華說：「起來膏抹他，就是這個人！」於是撒母耳拿起裝膏油的犄角，在他兄弟們當中膏抹了他。從那天以後，耶和華的靈就大大臨到大衛。撒母耳起身回拉瑪去了。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「耶和華派遣我來膏立你為王，統治他的子民以色列，所以，你現在要聽從耶和華的命令。

「看哪，我差派你們出去，就像把羊送進狼群中，所以你們要像蛇那樣聰明，像鴿子那樣純潔。

撒母耳說：「雖然你看自己微小，但你難道不是以色列眾支派的首領嗎？耶和華膏立你為以色列的王。
