他們曾對你們說過：「在末後的時代，將有好譏誚的人順著自己不敬神的欲望生活。」

這些人滿腹抱怨，責怪他人，順著自己的欲望生活；他們嘴裡說誇大的話，為了利益諂媚他人。

相反，把那些可恥的隱祕之事棄絕了；不以詭詐行事，也不歪曲神的話語；反而藉著顯明真理，在神面前把自己推薦給每個人的良心。

你應當知道這一點：在末後的日子裡，將有艱難的時候來到；

譏諷者尋求智慧卻得不到；有悟性的人輕易得知識。

「無知的人喜愛無知，譏諷者貪愛譏諷，愚昧人恨惡知識，要到什麼時候呢？

他譏諷那些譏諷者，把恩惠賜給卑微人。

因為強橫者必歸於無有，譏諷者必滅絕，所有伺機做壞事的都必被剪除。

因此，你們這些譏諷者，就是管轄耶路撒冷這百姓的啊，要聽耶和華的話語！

孩子們哪，現在是末後的時期了。正如你們聽說過敵基督的要來，現在確實已經有許多敵基督的出現了；故此我們知道，現在是末後的時期了。

他們說：「讓以色列的聖者加快吧，加速他的工作吧，好讓我們看看！讓他所計劃的臨近吧，到來吧，好讓我們知道！」
