“ You mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew or rain upon you, nor fields of offerings! For there the shield of the mighty was defiled, the shield of Saul, not anointed with oil.

O mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew or rain upon you, nor fruitful fields producing offerings of grain. For there the shield of the mighty heroes was defiled; the shield of Saul will no longer be anointed with oil.

非利士人与以色列人争战。以色列人在非利士人面前逃跑，在基利波有被杀仆倒的。

他们摆设筵席，派人守望，又吃又喝。首领啊，你们起来，用油抹盾牌。

撒母耳拿瓶膏油倒在扫罗的头上，与他亲嘴，说：“这不是耶和华膏你作他产业的君吗？

我必使它荒废，不再修理，不再锄刨，荆棘蒺藜倒要生长。我也必命云不降雨在其上。

或者他转意后悔，留下余福，就是留下献给耶和华你们神的素祭和奠祭，也未可知。

素祭和奠祭从耶和华的殿中断绝；侍奉耶和华的祭司都悲哀。

非利士人与以色列人争战，以色列人在非利士人面前逃跑，在基利波山有被杀仆倒的。

次日，非利士人来剥那被杀之人的衣服，看见扫罗和他儿子仆倒在基利波山，

“愿我生的那日和说怀了男胎的那夜都灭没。愿那日变为黑暗；愿神不从上面寻找它；愿亮光不照于其上。愿黑暗和死荫索取那日；愿密云停在其上；愿日蚀恐吓它。愿那夜被幽暗夺取，不在年中的日子同乐，也不入月中的数目。愿那夜没有生育，其间也没有欢乐的声音。愿那咒诅日子且能惹动鳄鱼的咒诅那夜。愿那夜黎明的星宿变为黑暗，盼亮却不亮，也不见早晨的光线；因没有把怀我胎的门关闭，也没有将患难对我的眼隐藏。

耶和华的使者说：‘应当咒诅米罗斯，大大咒诅其中的居民；因为他们不来帮助耶和华，不来帮助耶和华攻击勇士。’

愿我生的那日受咒诅；愿我母亲产我的那日不蒙福！给我父亲报信说“你得了儿子”，使我父亲甚欢喜的，愿那人受咒诅。愿那人像耶和华所倾覆而不后悔的城邑；愿他早晨听见哀声，晌午听见呐喊；

主耶和华如此说：“它下阴间的那日，我便使人悲哀。我为它遮盖深渊，使江河凝结，大水停流；我也使黎巴嫩为它凄惨，田野的诸树都因它发昏。
