利乏音人所剩下的只有巴珊王噩。他的床是铁的，长九肘，宽四肘，都是以人肘为度。现今岂不是在亚扪人的拉巴吗？）”

过了一年，尼布甲尼撒差遣人将约雅斤和耶和华殿里各样宝贵的器皿带到巴比伦，就立约雅斤的叔叔西底家作犹大和耶路撒冷的王。

你要定出一条路，使刀来到亚扪人的拉巴；又要定出一条路，使刀来到犹大的坚固城耶路撒冷。

那时，耶和华必出去与那些国争战，好像从前争战一样。

喜爱有时，恨恶有时；争战有时，和好有时。

约押攻取亚扪人的京城拉巴。约押打发使者去见大卫，说：“我攻打拉巴，取其水城。现在你要聚集其余的军兵来，安营围攻这城，恐怕我取了这城，人就以我的名叫这城。”
