Why did you despise the word of the Lord by doing what is evil in his eyes? You struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and took his wife to be your own. You killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why did you turn your back on what I told you to do? You did what is evil in my sight. You made sure that Uriah, the Hittite, would be killed in battle. You took his wife to be your own. You let the men of Ammon kill him with their swords.

Why have you despised the word of the Lord, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Why, then, have you despised the word of the Lord and done this horrible deed? For you have murdered Uriah the Hittite with the sword of the Ammonites and stolen his wife.

耶和华如此说：“犹大三番四次犯罪，厌弃耶和华的训诲，不遵守他的律例；他们祖先所随从虚假的偶像使他们走迷了，我必不撤销对它的惩罚。

大卫派使者去把妇人接来；她来到大卫那里，那时她的月经刚洁净，大卫与她同寝。她就回家去了。

现在刀剑必永不离开你的家，因你藐视我，娶了赫人乌利亚的妻子为妻。’

早晨，大卫写信给约押，交乌利亚亲手带去。他在信内写着说：“要派乌利亚到战争激烈的前线去，然后你们撤退离开他，使他被击杀而死。”约押侦察城的时候，知道敌人哪里有勇士，就派乌利亚到那地方。城里的人出来和约押打仗，大卫的仆人中有几个士兵被杀，赫人乌利亚也死了。于是，约押派人去将战争的一切事奏告大卫，又吩咐使者说：“你把战争的一切事对王说完了，王若发怒，对你说：‘你们打仗为什么挨近城呢？岂不知敌人会从城墙上射箭吗？从前击杀耶路比设的儿子亚比米勒的是谁呢？岂不是一个妇人从城墙上抛下一块上磨石来，打在他身上，他就死在提备斯吗？你们为什么挨近城墙呢？’你就说：‘你的仆人赫人乌利亚也死了。’”使者就去，照着约押所吩咐的一切话来奏告大卫。使者对大卫说：“敌人强过我们，出到郊外攻打我们，我们把他们赶回到城门口。弓箭手从城墙上射你的仆人，射死几个王的仆人，你的仆人赫人乌利亚也死了。”大卫向使者说：“你对约押这样说：‘不要为这事难过，因为刀剑可能吞灭这人或那人。你只管竭力攻城，将城倾覆。’你要勉励约押。”乌利亚的妻听见丈夫乌利亚死了，就为丈夫哀哭。居丧的日子过了，大卫派人把她接到宫里，她就作了大卫的妻子，给大卫生了一个儿子。但大卫做的这事，耶和华的眼中看为恶。

他们若行我眼中看为恶的事，不听从我的话，我就改变心意，不将我所说的福气赐给他们。

流你们血、害你们命的，我必向他追讨；我要向一切走兽追讨，向人和向人的弟兄追讨人命。凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因为神造人，是照自己的形像造的。

“不可杀人。“不可奸淫。

但那故意犯罪的人，无论是本地人是寄居的，亵渎了耶和华，这人必从百姓中剪除。因为他藐视耶和华的话，违背耶和华的命令，这人一定要剪除；他的罪孽要归到自己身上。”
