押沙龍來見王說：『看哪，現在有剪羊毛的人為僕人剪羊毛；請王和王的臣僕跟僕人一同去。』

押沙龙来到王那里，说：“看哪，有人正为你的仆人剪羊毛，请王和王的臣仆与你的仆人同去。”

他去见王，说：“我的工人正在剪羊毛，请王和众臣仆跟我一起去吧。”

押沙龙去见王说：“看哪！现在你的仆人雇了人剪羊毛；请王和王的臣仆与我一同去。”

押沙龍來見王，說：「現在有人為僕人剪羊毛，請王和王的臣僕與僕人同去。」

押沙龍來到王那裏，說：「看哪，有人正為你的僕人剪羊毛，請王和王的臣僕與你的僕人同去。」

他去見王，說：「我的工人正在剪羊毛，請王和眾臣僕跟我一起去吧。」

押沙龍去見王說：“看哪！現在你的僕人雇了人剪羊毛；請王和王的臣僕與我一同去。”

押沙龍來見王，說：「看哪，現在有人為僕人剪羊毛，請王和王的臣僕們與僕人同去。」

乃覲王曰、有人為僕剪羊毛、請王及臣僕、與爾僕偕往、

覲王曰、臣僕僱人往剪羊毛、請王及群臣與我偕行。

押沙龍見王曰、有人為僕翦羊毛、請王與王之臣僕、同往筵宴、

Absalom went to the king and said,“ Your servant has had shearers come. Will the king and his attendants please join me?”

Absalom went to the king. He said,“ I’ve had my workers come to clip the wool. Will you and your attendants please join me?”

And Absalom came to the king and said,“ Behold, your servant has sheepshearers. Please let the king and his servants go with your servant.”

He went to the king and said,“ My sheep shearers are now at work. Would the king and his servants please come to celebrate the occasion with me?”

Then he went to the king and said,“ Your servant has just hired sheepshearers. Will the king and his servants please come with your servant?”

And Absalom came to the king and said,“ Behold now, your servant has sheepshearers; may the king and his servants please go with your servant.”

Then Absalom came to the king and said,“ Kindly note, your servant has sheepshearers; please, let the king and his servants go with your servant.”

And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheep- shearers; let the king, I pray thee, and his servants go with thy servant.

Then he went to the king and said,“ Your servant has just hired sheepshearers. Will the king and his servants please come with your servant?”

And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheepshearers; let the king, I beseech thee, and his servants go with thy servant.

Then Absalom went to the king and said,“ My shearers have begun their work. Let the king and his servants go with me.”

Absalom came to the king, and said,“ See now, your servant has sheep shearers. Please let the king and his servants go with your servant.”

他的口比奶酪還光滑，他的心卻想要接戰；他的話比膏油還柔和，其實乃是拔出的刀。

人人跟鄰舍說虛謊話；他們說話、是嘴脣油滑、存兩樣心的。

大衛對烏利亞說：『你下到你家裏去，洗洗腳。』烏利亞出了王宮，隨有王的一份食物也跟着他出來。烏利亞卻和他主上所有的僕人一同睡在王宮門外，並沒有下到他家裏去。有人告訴大衛說：『烏利亞並沒有下到家裏去呀』；大衛就對烏利亞說：『你、你不是從遠路上來麼？為甚麼不下到你家裏去呢？』烏利亞對大衛說：『上帝的櫃和以色列兵猶大兵都住在草棚裏；我主約押和我主上的僕人都在野外紮營；而我、我回家去喫喝、去和妻子同寢麼？我指着永活的永恆主、也指着你的性命來起誓，我決不這樣行。』大衛對烏利亞說：『你今天也住在這裏；明天我就打發你走。』於是那一天烏利亞仍住在耶路撒冷。第二天大衛召了烏利亞來，叫他在自己面前喫喝，並且喝醉。到了晚上、烏利亞就出去、在自己的床上和他主上的僕人一同睡覺；自己家裏呢、他根本就沒有下去。到了早晨、大衛寫信給約押，由烏利亞經手送去。信裏寫着說：『要派烏利亞到前面戰事劇烈的地方，你們便退到他後邊，讓他被擊殺而死。』

尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利從米斯巴出來迎接他們，一邊走、一邊哭；遇見了他們，就對他們說：『你們來見亞希甘的兒子基大利吧！』他們到了城中，尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利和跟着他的人、就把他們宰殺，拋在坑中。
