凡血肉之躯必一同死亡；世人必归于尘土。

壮士若死了能再活吗？我在一切服役的日子中等待，直到我退伍的时候来到。

我们一生的年日是七十岁，若是强壮可到八十岁；但其中所矜夸的不过是劳苦愁烦，转眼即逝，我们便如飞而去。

他若不是出于预谋，而是神交在他手中，我就设立一个地方，让他可以逃到那里。

因为世人遭遇的，走兽也遭遇，所遭遇的都一样：这个怎样死，那个也怎样死，他们都有一样的气息。人不能强于走兽，全是虚空；都归一处，都是出于尘土，也都归于尘土。

就打发他们的门徒同希律党人去见耶稣，说：“老师，我们知道你是诚实的，并且诚诚实实传神的道，无论谁你都一视同仁，因为你不看人的面子。

既然你们称那不偏待人、按各人行为审判人的主为父，就当存敬畏的心，度你们在世寄居的日子。
