Therefore he said unto his servants, See, Joab’s field is near mine, and he hath barley there; go and set it on fire. And Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

所以押沙龙对仆人说：“你们看，约押有一块田，与我的田相近，其中有大麦，你们去放火烧了。”押沙龙的仆人就去放火烧了那田。

于是押沙龙对仆人说：“你们看，约押有一块田靠近我的田，其中有大麦，你们去放火把它烧了。”押沙龙的仆人就去放火烧了那田。

于是押沙龙对仆人说：“你们看，约押有一块田靠近我的田，其中有大麦，你们去放火把它烧了。”押沙龙的仆人就去放火烧了那田。

押沙龙就吩咐仆人：“你们看，约押的田就在我的田旁边，他种了大麦，你们去放火把它烧了。”押沙龙的仆人便把麦田烧了。

于是押沙龙对仆人说：“你们看，约押的一块田和我相邻，田里有大麦。你们去放火烧田！”押沙龙的仆人就放火把那块田烧了。

於是押沙龍對他的僕人說：「你們看，約押的一塊地在我的地旁邊，那地裡有大麥。你們去放火燒了它！」押沙龍的僕人就放火燒了那塊地。

遂謂僕曰、約押之田、與我接壤、中有麰麥、爾往焚之、僕遂縱火於田、

諭僕從曰、約押田疇與我接壤、田有麰麥、汝往縱火以焚。僕遂焚之。

押沙龍謂僕從曰、爾知近我田有約押之大麥田、爾往縱火焚之、押沙龍之僕、遂縱火焚其田、

Then he said to his servants,“ Look, Joab’s field is next to mine, and he has barley there. Go and set it on fire.” So Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

Then Absalom said to his servants,“ Joab’s field is next to mine. He has barley growing there. Go and set it on fire.” So Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

Then he said to his servants,“ See, Joab’s field is next to mine, and he has barley there; go and set it on fire.” So Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

So Absalom said to his servants,“ Go and set fire to Joab’s barley field, the field next to mine.” So they set his field on fire, as Absalom had commanded.

Then Absalom said to his servants,“ See, Joab has a field right next to mine, and he has barley there. Go and set fire to it!” So Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

Therefore he said to his servants,“ See, Joab’s plot is next to mine, and he has barley there; go and set it on fire.” So Absalom’s servants set the plot on fire.

So he said to his servants,“ See, Joab’s field is near mine, and he has barley there; go and set it on fire.” And Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

Therefore he said unto his servants, See, Joab’s field is near mine, and he hath barley there; go and set it on fire. And Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

Then Absalom said to his servants,“ See, Joab has a field right next to mine, and he has barley there. Go and set fire to it!” So Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

So he said to his servants,“ Look, Joab has a portion of field adjacent to mine and he has some barley there. Go and set it on fire.” So Absalom’s servants set Joab’s portion of the field on fire.

Therefore he said to his servants,“ Behold, Joab’s field is near mine, and he has barley there. Go and set it on fire.” So Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.

And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.And when he had set the brands on fire, he let[ them] go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards[ and] olives.

And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and[ some] of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.

Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye[ be] mine, and[ if] ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by tomorrow this time. Now the king’s sons,[ being] seventy persons,[ were] with the great men of the city, which brought them up.And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king’s sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him[ them] to Jezreel.

And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And[ then] carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.And the men of his city,[ even] the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them,[ and] as it[ was] written in the letters which she had sent unto them.They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him,[ even] against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned, and is dead.

Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant.And the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king’s sons arose, and every man gat him up upon his mule, and fled.
