押沙龍對亞希多弗說：『你們定個計謀、我們該怎樣行才好。』

押沙龍對亞希多弗說：「你們給個建議，我們該怎麼做呢？」

押沙龍謂亞希多弗曰、我儕當若何而行、爾其謀之、

押沙龍謂亞希多弗曰、今日之事、如何處置、爾其斟酌之。

押沙龍謂亞希多弗曰、爾曹計議、當如何以行、

Absalom said to Ahithophel,“ Give us your advice. What should we do?”

Absalom said to Ahithophel,“ Give us your advice. What should we do?”

Then Absalom said to Ahithophel,“ Give your counsel. What shall we do?”

Then Absalom turned to Ahithophel and asked him,“ What should I do next?”

Then Absalom said to Ahithophel,“ Give me your advice. What should we do?”

Then Absalom said to Ahithophel,“ Give advice as to what we should do.”

Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give your counsel what we shall do.

Then Absalom said to Ahithophel,“ Give me your advice. What should we do?”

Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.

Then Absalom said to Ahithophel,“ Give us your advice. What should we do?”

Then Absalom said to Ahithophel,“ Give your counsel what we shall do.”

There is no wisdom, no understanding, And no plan against the Lord.

Come, let us deal shrewdly with them, otherwise they will multiply, and in the event of war, they will also join those who hate us, and fight against us and depart from the land.”

When they had been released, they went to their own companions and reported everything that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.And when they heard this, they raised their voices to God with one mind and said,“ Lord, it is You who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them,who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, said,‘ Why were the nations insolent, And the peoples plotting in vain?The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the Lord and against His Christ.’For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel,to do whatever Your hand and purpose predestined to occur.

Devise a plan, but it will fail; State a proposal, but it will not stand, For God is with us.”

Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the Lord, And whose deeds are done in a dark place, And they say,“ Who sees us?” or“ Who knows us?”

Now when morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people conferred together against Jesus to put Him to death;

The wicked plots against the righteous, And gnashes at him with his teeth.The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.

The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers conspire together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
