你们要亲身体验，就知道耶和华的美善；投靠祂的人有福了！耶和华的圣民啊，你们要敬畏祂，因为敬畏祂的人一无所缺。壮狮也会忍饥挨饿，但寻求耶和华的人什么福分都不缺。

信徒有缺乏，要慷慨帮助；客人来访，要热诚款待。

提玛的居民啊，要送水给这些口渴的人，拿食物给这些逃难的人。

再带十块奶饼送给他们的千夫长，看望一下他们，带个信儿回来。

因为耶和华上帝是太阳，是盾牌；祂赐下恩惠和尊荣，不留下任何好处不赐给行为正直的人。

腓立比人啊！你们也知道，在我离开马其顿传福音的初期，除了你们以外，没有别的教会供应我的需要。即使我在帖撒罗尼迦的时候，你们也不止一次供应过我的需要。我不求得到你们的馈赠，只希望你们所做的会带给你们更大的赏赐。我现在样样都有，丰富有余。我从以巴弗提手上收到了你们送给我的礼物，已经充足了。这些馈赠是蒙上帝悦纳的馨香祭物。我的上帝必按照祂在基督耶稣里的荣耀，丰丰富富地赐给你们所需用的一切。

把你们的食物分给饥饿的人，接待无家可归的穷人，送衣服给赤身露体的人，不躲避求助的亲人。
