要把你的糧食撒在水面上，因為日久你必得回。你要分為七份，或分為八份，因為你不知道將來會有甚麼災禍在地上發生。

有希律的管家古撒的妻子約亞拿，又有蘇珊娜，和許多別的婦女，她們都用自己的財物供給耶穌和門徒。

基甸來到約旦河，就過了河；他和與他在一起的三百人雖然都很疲乏，仍然追趕敵人。基甸對疏割人說：“求你們把幾個餅給跟隨我的人吃，因為他們疲乏了，我還要繼續追趕米甸人和兩個王西巴和撒慕拿。”疏割人的首領回答：“西巴和撒慕拿現在不是已經在你的手裡嗎？我們應該把餅送給你的軍隊吃嗎？”

你們要親自體驗，就知道耶和華是美善的；投靠他的人，都是有福的。耶和華的聖民哪！你們要敬畏他，因為敬畏他的一無所缺。少壯獅子有時還缺食挨餓，但尋求耶和華的，甚麼好處都不缺。

聖徒有缺乏的，就要接濟；客旅要熱誠地款待。

提瑪地的居民哪！要拿水來給那些口渴的，拿餅來接待那些逃難的。

又拿這十塊乳酪去給他們的千夫長，看看你的哥哥們平安不平安，把他們的家書帶回來。”

因為耶和華神是太陽，是盾牌，耶和華賜下恩惠和光榮；他沒有留下一樣好處，不給那些行為正直的人。

腓立比的弟兄們，你們也知道，在我傳福音的初期，離開馬其頓的時候，除了你們以外，我沒有收過任何教會的供給。我在帖撒羅尼迦的時候，你們還是一而再把我所需用的送來。我並不求禮物，只求你們的果子不斷增加，歸在你們的帳上。你們所送的我都全數收到了，而且綽綽有餘；我已經足夠了，因我從以巴弗提收到你們所送的，好像馨香之氣，是神所接納所喜悅的祭物。我的神必照他在基督耶穌裡榮耀的豐富，滿足你們的一切需要。

趁他疲乏手軟的時候，忽然追上他，使他驚惶失措，與他在一起的人就必逃跑；我只要單單擊殺王一人，

不是要把你的食物分給飢餓的人，把流浪的窮困人接到你的家裡，見到赤身露體的，給他衣服蔽體，不可逃避自己的骨肉而不顧恤嗎？
