Now a troublemaker named Sheba son of Bikri, a Benjamite, happened to be there. He sounded the trumpet and shouted,“ We have no share in David, no part in Jesse’s son! Every man to his tent, Israel!”

An evil man who always stirred up trouble happened to be in Gilgal. His name was Sheba, the son of Bikri. Sheba was from the tribe of Benjamin. He blew his trumpet. Then he shouted,“ We don’t have any share in David’s kingdom! Jesse’s son is not our king! Men of Israel, every one of you go back home!”

Now there happened to be there a worthless man, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite. And he blew the trumpet and said,“ We have no portion in David, and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse; every man to his tents, O Israel!”

There happened to be a troublemaker there named Sheba son of Bicri, a man from the tribe of Benjamin. Sheba blew a ram’s horn and began to chant:“ Down with the dynasty of David! We have no interest in the son of Jesse. Come on, you men of Israel, back to your homes!”

Now a wicked man, a Benjaminite named Sheba son of Bichri, happened to be there. He blew the ram’s horn and shouted: We have no portion in David, no inheritance in Jesse’s son. Each man to his tent, Israel!

Now a worthless man happened to be there whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite; and he blew the trumpet and said,“ We have no share in David, Nor do we have an inheritance in the son of Jesse; Every man to his tents, Israel!”

And there happened to be there a rebel, whose name was Sheba the son of Bichri, a Benjamite. And he blew a trumpet, and said:“ We have no share in David, Nor do we have inheritance in the son of Jesse; Every man to his tents, O Israel!”

And there happened to be there a base fellow, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew the trumpet, and said, We have no portion in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.

Now a wicked man, a Benjaminite named Sheba son of Bichri, happened to be there. He blew the ram’s horn and shouted: We have no portion in David, no inheritance in Jesse’s son. Each man to his tent, Israel!

有些无赖之徒从你中间出来，引诱本城的居民，说：‘我们去事奉别神吧。’那是你们不认识的，

以色列众人见王不依从他们，百姓就回覆王说：“我们在大卫中有什么分呢？我们在耶西的儿子中没有产业！以色列啊，各回自己的帐棚去吧！大卫啊，现在你顾自己的家吧！”于是，以色列众人都回自己的帐棚去了；

罗波安的父亲所罗门在世的时候，有侍立在他面前的长者，罗波安王和他们商议，说：“你们出个主意，好把话带回给这百姓。”

耶和华啊，求你兴起，前去迎敌，把他打倒！求你用你的刀救我的命脱离恶人。

看哪，以色列众人来到王那里，对王说：“我们的弟兄犹大人为什么暗暗地送王和王的家眷，以及所有跟随王的人，过约旦河呢？”犹大众人回答以色列人说：“因为王与我们是亲属，你们为何因这事发怒呢？我们靠王吃了什么呢？王真正给了我们什么赏赐呢？”以色列人回答犹大人说：“我们与王有十倍的关系，就是在大卫身上，我们也比你们更有权利。你们为何藐视我们呢？我们不是最先提议请王回来的吗？”但犹大人的话比以色列人的话更强硬。

扫罗对左右侍立的臣仆说：“便雅悯人哪，听着！耶西的儿子也能把田地和葡萄园赐给你们各人吗？他能立你们各人作千夫长和百夫长吗？你们竟都结党害我！我儿子与耶西的儿子立约的时候，无人告诉我；我儿子挑唆我的臣仆谋害我，像今日这样，也无人告诉我，为我忧虑。”

好争吵的人煽动争端，就如余火加炭，火上加柴一样。

不要冒失出去与人争讼，免得你的邻舍羞辱你，最后你就不知怎么做。

但无赖全都像被丢弃的荆棘；它们不能用手去拿；

耶和华—我的上帝，我的圣者啊，你不是从亘古就有吗？我们必不致死。耶和华啊，你派他为要行审判；磐石啊，你立他为要惩治人。你的眼目清洁，不看邪恶，也不看奸恶，为何你却看着人行诡诈呢？恶人吞灭比自己公义的人，为何你保持沉默呢？

我儿啊，你要敬畏耶和华与君王，不可结交反覆无常的人，因为他们的灾难必忽然兴起。谁能知道耶和华与君王所施行的毁灭呢？

义人多有苦难，但耶和华救他脱离这一切，

他们心里欢乐的时候，看哪，城中的无赖围住房子，连连叩门，对老人，这家的主人说：“把那进你家的人带出来，我们要与他交合。”

以利的两个儿子是无赖，不认识耶和华。

押沙龙派密使走遍以色列各支派，说：“你们一听见角声就说：‘押沙龙在希伯仑作王了！’”

他到了那里，就在以法莲山区吹角。以色列人跟随他从山区下来，他在他们前面引路，

他本国的百姓却恨他，打发使者随后去，说：‘我们不愿意这个人作我们的王。’

跟随大卫去的人中，每一个恶人和无赖都说：“这些人既然没有和我同去，我们所夺的财物就不分给他们，只把他们各人的妻子儿女给他们，让他们带回去就好了。”

至于我那些仇敌，不要我作他们王的，把他们拉来，在我面前杀了！’”
