So all the men of Israel deserted David to follow Sheba son of Bikri. But the men of Judah stayed by their king all the way from the Jordan to Jerusalem.

So all the men of Israel deserted David. They followed Sheba, the son of Bikri. But the men of Judah stayed with their king. They remained with him from the Jordan River all the way to Jerusalem.

So all the men of Israel withdrew from David and followed Sheba the son of Bichri. But the men of Judah followed their king steadfastly from the Jordan to Jerusalem.

So all the men of Israel deserted David and followed Sheba son of Bicri. But the men of Judah stayed with their king and escorted him from the Jordan River to Jerusalem.

他到了那里，看见神所施的恩，就很欢喜，劝勉众人坚心靠主。

从此，他的门徒中有许多人退去了，不再与他同行。于是耶稣对十二门徒说：“你们也想离去吗？”西门．彼得回答：“主啊，你有永生之道，我们还跟从谁呢？

王就回来，到了约旦河。犹大人也来到吉甲，要去迎接王，接王过约旦河。

纷争的开始，如同决堤的水；所以在争执发生以前，就要制止。

卑贱的人真是虚空，高贵的人也是虚假，放在天平上就必升起；他们加在一起比空气还轻。

投靠耶和华，胜过倚靠人。投靠耶和华，胜过倚靠王子。列国围困着我，我靠着耶和华的名必除灭他们。

王过了河，到了吉甲，金罕也与王一同渡河。所有的犹大人和半数以色列人，也都与王一同渡河。以色列众人都来见王，问王说：“我们的兄弟犹大人为什么把你偷去了，把王和王的家眷接过约旦河呢？属大卫的人不都一样是他的人民吗？”

只有那些住在犹大众城镇的以色列人，罗波安仍然作他们的王。
