大衛是這樣問基遍人說：『我應當為你們作甚麼？我應該用甚麼來贖罪，使你們為永恆主的產業祝福呢？』

问他们说：“我当为你们怎样行呢？可用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？”

大卫对基遍人说：“我当为你们做什么呢？要用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？”

大卫对基遍人说：“我当为你们做什么呢？要用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？”

问他们：“我可以为你们做些什么来赎罪，使你们愿意祝福耶和华的子民呢？”

大卫问基遍人：“我能为你们作什么？我该用什么来赎罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？”

問他們說：「我當為你們怎樣行呢？可用甚麼贖這罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？」

大衛對基遍人說：「我當為你們做甚麼呢？要用甚麼贖這罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？」

大衛對基遍人說：「我當為你們做甚麼呢？要用甚麼贖這罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？」

問他們：「我可以為你們做些什麼來贖罪，使你們願意祝福耶和華的子民呢？」

大衛問基遍人：“我能為你們作甚麼？我該用甚麼來贖罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？”

大衛問基遍人：「我該為你們做些什麼呢？我該怎樣贖罪，使你們祝福耶和華的繼業呢？」

大衛召基遍人、謂之曰、我當為爾何為、何以贖此罪、俾爾為耶和華之業祝嘏、

問曰、我為爾將何所為、以贖此罪、使爾為耶和華之選民而祝嘏。

大衛問基遍人曰、我為爾當何為、我當何為、方贖此罪、使爾為主之子民祝福、或作以致爾可使主之子民獲福

David asked the Gibeonites,“ What shall I do for you? How shall I make atonement so that you will bless the Lord’s inheritance?”

He asked them,“ What would you like me to do for you? How can I make up for the wrong things that were done to you? I want you to be able to pray that the Lord will once again bless his land.”

And David said to the Gibeonites,“ What shall I do for you? And how shall I make atonement, that you may bless the heritage of the Lord?”

David asked them,“ What can I do for you? How can I make amends so that you will bless the Lord’s people again?”

He asked the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? How can I make atonement so that you will bring a blessing on the LORD’s inheritance?”

David said to the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? And how can I make amends, so that you will bless the inheritance of the Lord?”

Therefore David said to the Gibeonites,“ What shall I do for you? And with what shall I make atonement, that you may bless the inheritance of the Lord?”

and David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of Jehovah?

He asked the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? How can I make atonement so that you will bring a blessing on the Lord’s inheritance?”

Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?

David said to the Gibeonites,“ What can I do for you, and how can I make amends so that you will bless the LORD’s inheritance?”

and David said to the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? And with what should I make atonement, that you may bless Yahweh’s inheritance?”

我們是以色列中和平忠厚的人；你竟想法子要毁壞一座城、又是以色列中的一座府城！你為甚麼要吞沒永恆主的產業呢？』

現在求我主我王聽僕人的一句話：如果是永恆主激動你攻擊我，那麼願永恆主聞聞祭物；如果是人呢，那麼願他們在永恆主面前受咒詛；因為他們今天趕逐我、不容我隸屬於永恆主的產業；那就等於說：「你去事奉別的神吧。」

第二天摩西對人民說：『你們真地犯了大罪了；如今我要上永恆主那裏去，或者可以為你們贖罪。』

人若得罪了人，有上帝作仲裁；人若得罪了永恆主，誰能為他祈禱呢？』他們竟不聽他們父親的話，因為永恆主有意思要殺死他們。

其實幾乎可以說，按照律法，凡物都是用血潔淨的：沒有流血的事，就沒有赦免的事。

他要按手在燔祭牲的頭上、為自己行除罪禮，便蒙悅納。

因為公牛和山羊的血是不能把罪除掉的。所以基督進入世界的時候，他仿彿是用詩人的話來說：『祭物和供物、你未嘗願要過，你只為我豫備了身體以自獻為祭。全燔祭和為罪獻的祭、你未嘗喜悅過。於是我說：「看哪，我來了；上帝啊，我來是要遵行你旨意的」；關於我的事、經卷上已有記載了。』以上既說：『祭物和供物、全燔祭和為罪獻的祭、你未嘗願要過，也未嘗喜悅過（而這種祭物卻是按照律法而供獻的）；以後又說：『看哪，我來了、是要遵行你旨意的』。可見他是取消那先前的，為要立定那在後的啊。本着這個旨意，藉着耶穌基督儘一次之供獻身體，我們已成為聖別了。再者，所有的祭司、都是天天站着、作事奉的工，屢次供獻同樣的祭物、永不能把罪除掉的祭物。惟獨這一位、卻替罪獻了一次的祭，就永續不斷地坐在上帝的右邊；

我朝見永恆主，在高高的上帝面前屈身，該帶着甚麼？難道我朝見他、要帶着燔祭，帶着一歲的牛犢麼？難道永恆主還喜悅千千的公羊，或萬萬的油河麼？難道我可為我的過犯獻我的長子？為我的罪獻我身所生的果子麼？
