耶和華啊，你豈是向江河發怒，向江河生氣，向海洋發烈怒嗎？你騎在馬上，坐在得勝的戰車上，你的弓全然顯露，箭是發誓的言語；（細拉）你以江河分開大地。山嶺見你，無不戰抖；大水氾濫而過，深淵發聲，洶湧翻騰。

他的鼻孔冒煙上騰；他的口發火焚燒，連煤炭也燒着了。

滄海看見就奔逃，約旦河也倒流。大山踴躍如公羊，小山跳舞如羔羊。滄海啊，你為何奔逃？約旦哪，你為何倒流？大山哪，你為何踴躍如公羊？小山哪，你為何跳舞如羔羊？大地啊，在主的面前，在雅各的神的面前，震動吧！

因你鼻中的氣，水就聚成堆，大水豎立如壘，海的中心深水凝結。仇敵說：『我要追趕，我要追上，我要分擄物，在他們身上滿足我的心願，我要拔刀，親手毀滅他們。』你用風一吹，海水就淹沒他們；他們像鉛沉在大水之中。

神啊，你為何永遠丟棄我們呢？為何向你草場的羊發怒，如煙冒出呢？

耶和華啊，你的斥責一發，你鼻孔的氣一出，海底就顯現，大地的根基也暴露。他從高天伸手抓住我，把我從大水中拉上來。他救我脫離強敵和那些恨我的人，因為他們比我強盛。

耶穌說：「你們這些小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」於是他起來，斥責風和海，風和海就大大平靜了。眾人驚訝地說：「這是怎樣的一個人？連風和海都聽從他。」
