Whoever touches thorns uses a tool of iron or the shaft of a spear; they are burned up where they lie.”

现在斧头已经放在树根上，所有不结好果子的树，就砍下来，丢在火里。我用水给你们施洗，表示你们悔改；但在我以后要来的那一位，能力比我更大，我就是替他提鞋也没有资格。他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。他手里拿着簸箕，要扬净麦场，把麦子收进仓里，却用不灭的火把糠秕烧尽。”

他本国的人却恨他，就派使者跟着去说：‘我们不愿意这个人作王统治我们。’

那时大地摇撼震动，天的根基也都摇动；它们摇撼，是因为耶和华发怒。浓烟从他的鼻孔往上冒，烈火从他的口中喷出来，连炭也烧着了。他使天下垂，亲自降临；在他的脚下黑云密布。

丢进火炉，在那里必要哀哭切齿。

人若不住在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯干了，人把它们拾起来，丢在火里烧掉了。

那时，这不法的人必要显露出来。主耶稣要用自己口中的气除掉他，以自己再来所显现的光辉消灭他。

我再没有忿怒，若荆棘和蒺藜与我交战，我就上前践踏它们，把它们全部焚毁。

又要报应那些不认识神、不听从我们主耶稣的福音的人。
