我雖受膏為王、今猶荏弱、此洗魯雅之子、逼我太甚、願耶和華依惡人之惡而報之、

我雖受膏為王、今猶荏弱、而西魯雅之二子、桀驁不馴、願耶和華視惡人之罪戾、而報施焉。

我始受膏為王、今尚荏弱、此西魯雅二子強於我、願主循惡人所行之惡而報之、

And today, though I am the anointed king, I am weak, and these sons of Zeruiah are too strong for me. May the Lord repay the evildoer according to his evil deeds!”

I’m the anointed king. But today I’m weak. These sons of Zeruiah are too powerful for me. May the Lord pay back the one who killed Abner! May he pay him back for the evil thing he has done!”

And I was gentle today, though anointed king. These men, the sons of Zeruiah, are more severe than I. The Lord repay the evildoer according to his wickedness!”

And even though I am the anointed king, these two sons of Zeruiah— Joab and Abishai— are too strong for me to control. So may the Lord repay these evil men for their evil deeds.”

As for me, even though I am the anointed king, I have little power today. These men, the sons of Zeruiah, are too fierce for me. May the LORD repay the evildoer according to his evil!”

所以，殺這二人的血債必永遠歸到約押和他後代身上。願耶和華的平安永遠伴隨大衛和他的後代、他的家、他的國。」耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅就去把約押殺死，葬在曠野約押自己的墓地。

每天早晨我要消滅國中所有的惡人，從耶和華的城中剷除一切作惡的人。

銅匠亞歷山大做了許多惡事害我，主必按他的所作所為報應他。

求你使他們罪有應得，按他們的惡行，按他們手上的罪惡報應他們。

「你知道洗魯雅的兒子約押怎樣對我，他殺了以色列的兩名元帥——尼珥的兒子押尼珥和益帖的兒子亞瑪撒。他在太平的時候把他們當作戰場的敵手殺害，腰帶和鞋子上沾滿了他們的血。你要用智慧處置他，不可讓他安享天年。

大衛說：「為耶和華建造的殿宇必須宏偉輝煌，聞名於世，而我的兒子所羅門年紀還輕、閱歷尚淺，所以我要為這殿預備材料。」因此，大衛在去世前為建殿預備了許多材料。

王坐在寶座上審判，他的眼目明察罪惡。

約押就進到屋裡，對王說：「你的僕人們救了你和你妻妾兒女的性命，你今天卻使他們感到羞愧。仇視你的人，你倒去愛他；那些愛你的人，你反憎惡他們。這表明我王的心中根本沒有我們這些將領和部下。我想，要是死去的不是押沙龍而是我們，你就高興了。你現在應該出去安撫士兵們。我憑耶和華起誓，如果你不這樣做，今天晚上必無一人再追隨你。那將是你一生所遭遇的最大災難！」

對他們說：「你們辦事必須謹慎，因為你們不是為人而是為耶和華斷案，你們斷案的時候，耶和華必與你們同在。現在你們應當敬畏耶和華，謹慎辦事，因為我們的上帝耶和華毫無不義，不偏待人，不受賄賂。」

告訴他要謹慎鎮定，不要害怕，不要因亞蘭王利迅和利瑪利的兒子的怒氣而膽怯，他們不過是兩個冒煙的火把頭。

你們也要對亞瑪撒說，『你是我的骨肉，要是我不立你為元帥取代約押，願上帝重重地處罰我。』」

要知道掌權者是上帝差遣的，對行得正的人有益處。然而，你若作惡，就該懼怕，因為他必將你繩之以法。他是上帝的僕人，代表上帝秉公行義，懲奸罰惡。

上帝必剷除惡人的勢力，使義人充滿力量。

充滿慈愛。主啊，你必照各人的行為來施行賞罰。

他們的惡行臨到自己頭上，他們的暴力落到自己腦殼上。

「打人致死的，必須被處死。

六子阿鮮、七子大衛。他們的姊妹是洗魯雅和亞比該。洗魯雅的三個兒子是亞比篩、約押和亞撒黑。

清除君王身邊的惡人，王位必因公義而鞏固。
