Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each person in the whole crowd of Israelites, both men and women. And all the people went to their homes.

尼希米又对他们说：“你们应当去吃肥美的肉，喝甘甜的酒，把部分饮食分给没有能力预备的人，因为今天是我们的主的圣日；你们不要忧愁，因为靠耶和华而得的喜乐是你们的力量。”

到了第八天，王遣散了众人；众人都祝福过王以后，就高高兴兴地回自己的家去。他们因为看见耶和华向他仆人大卫和他子民以色列所施的一切恩惠，心中都感到欢喜。

犹大王希西家送给会众公牛一千头，羊七千只；众领袖也送给会众公牛一千头，羊一万只；并且有很多祭司自洁。

把作燔祭的部分拿去，按着各家族的系别分给众民，使他们可以照着摩西的书上所写的，奉献给耶和华。奉献公牛也是这样。他们按照规矩用火烤逾越节的羊羔，其他的圣物用锅、用釜，或用煎盘煮熟，迅速地送给众民；

所以他说：“他升上高天的时候，掳了许多俘虏，把赏赐给了人。”

于是约西亚送出绵羊羔和山羊羔共三万只，还有公牛三千头，给所有在场的人民作逾越节的祭牲；这些都是取自王的财产。约西亚手下的众领袖也自愿把祭牲送给人民、祭司和利未人；又有神殿的总管希勒家、撒迦利亚和耶歇，也把羔羊二千六百只和公牛三百头，送给祭司作逾越节的祭牲。

我凡事以身作则，你们必须照样辛劳，扶助软弱的人，并且记念主耶稣的话：‘施比受更为有福。’”

七月二十三日，王遣散众民回家；他们因看见耶和华向大卫、所罗门和他的子民以色列所施的恩惠，心里都欢喜快乐。

他又分给以色列众人，无论男女，每人一个饼、一块肉、一个葡萄饼。

君王要在节期、月朔、安息日，就是在以色列家一切规定的节日上，奉上燔祭、素祭和奠祭。他要预备赎罪祭、素祭、燔祭和平安祭，为以色列家赎罪。”
