I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought the Israelites up out of Egypt to this day. I have been moving from place to place with a tent as my dwelling.

摩西支起帐幕，安上带卯眼的座，安上板，穿上横木，立起柱子。他在帐幕的上面搭上罩棚，把罩棚外层的盖子盖在其上，是照着耶和华所吩咐他的。

“如果这样，你们还不听从我，行事与我作对，我就要向你们发烈怒，行事与你们作对，因你们的罪，加重七倍惩罚你们。

耶和华说：“我必亲自去，让你安心。”摩西说：“你若不亲自去，就不要把我们从这里领上去。

“如果这样，你们还不接受管教归向我，行事与我作对，我就要行事与你们作对，因你们的罪，加重七倍击打你们。

“你要写信给以弗所教会的使者，说：‘那右手拿着七颗星，在七个金灯台中间行走的这样说：

因为耶和华—你的上帝在你营中走动，要拯救你，将仇敌交给你，所以你的营应当圣洁，免得他见你那里有污秽之物就转身离开你。”

自从我领以色列人上来，直到今日，我未曾住过殿宇；我从这会幕到那会幕，从这帐幕到那帐幕。凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列的一个士师，就是我吩咐牧养我百姓的，说过这话：你们为何不给我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？’

那时，云彩遮盖会幕，耶和华的荣光充满了帐幕。摩西不能进会幕，因为云彩停在其上，耶和华的荣光充满了帐幕。每逢云彩从帐幕升上去，以色列人就起程前行；云彩若不升上去，他们就不起程，直等到云彩升上去。在他们所行的路上，在以色列全家的眼前，白天，耶和华的云彩在帐幕上，黑夜，有火在云彩中。

“我们的祖宗在旷野，有作证的会幕，是上帝吩咐摩西照着他所看见的样式做的。

上帝的殿和偶像有什么相同？因为我们是永生上帝的殿，就如上帝曾说：“我要在他们中间居住来往；我要作他们的上帝，他们要作我的子民。”

以色列人离开耶和华的山，往前行了三天的路程。耶和华的约柜在前面行了三天的路程，为他们寻找安歇的地方。他们拔营往前行，日间有耶和华的云彩在他们上面。约柜往前行的时候，摩西说：“耶和华啊，求你兴起！愿你的仇敌溃散！愿恨你的人从你面前逃跑！”约柜停住的时候，他说：“以色列千万人的耶和华啊，求你回来！”
