我是奉上帝旨意做基督耶稣使徒的保罗，与提摩太弟兄写信给在哥林多的上帝的教会以及亚该亚境内所有的圣徒。

因为我父的旨意是要叫一切看见儿子并相信的人得到永生，在末日，我要叫他们复活。”

这奥秘就是外族人能够在基督耶稣里借着福音与以色列人同做后嗣，同为一体，同享应许。

有永生的盼望。这永生是从不说谎的上帝在亘古以前应许的。

你们研读圣经，以为从圣经中可以得到永生。其实为我做见证的正是这圣经，但你们却不肯到我这里来得生命。

这永生就是，认识你——独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督。

吃我肉、喝我血的人有永生，在末日，我要叫他复活。

因为我们认识了用自己的荣耀和美德呼召我们的上帝，上帝以祂神圣的能力将生命与敬虔所需要的一切赐给了我们。借此，祂已将既宝贵又伟大的应许赏给了我们，使我们脱离世上私欲带来的败坏，能够有份于上帝的性情。

我要赐他们永生，他们永不灭亡。没有人能从我的手里把他们抢走。

我是按上帝旨意蒙召做基督耶稣使徒的保罗，同所提尼弟兄，

罪怎样掌权带来死亡，恩典也照样借着义掌权，为要借着我们主耶稣基督带来永生。

“我实实在在地告诉你们，谁听从我的话，又信差我来的那位，谁就有永生，不被定罪，已经出死入生了。

主应许给我们的是永生。

这样，他们可以为自己的将来奠定美好的基础，以便持守真正的生命。

因为上帝的一切应许在基督里都是确实的，所以我们也是借着基督说“阿们”，将荣耀归于上帝。

因为罪的代价就是死亡，而上帝借着主基督耶稣赐下的礼物则是永生。

我是基督耶稣的奴仆保罗，蒙召做使徒，奉命传上帝的福音。
