我靠着那加給我力量的，凡事都能做。

因為神賜給我們的不是膽怯的心，而是剛強、仁愛、自制的心。

他對我說：「我的恩典是夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇耀自己的軟弱，好使基督的能力覆庇我。為基督的緣故，我以軟弱、凌辱、艱難、迫害、困苦為可喜樂的事；因為我甚麼時候軟弱，甚麼時候就剛強了。

最後，你們要靠着主，依賴他的大能大力作剛強的人。

我兒提摩太啊，我照從前指着你的預言把這命令交託你，使你能藉着這些預言打那美好的仗，

你們要警醒，在信仰上要站穩，要勇敢，要剛強。

所羅巴伯啊，現在，你當剛強！這是耶和華說的。約撒答的兒子約書亞大祭司啊，你當剛強！這是耶和華說的。這地的百姓啊，你們都當剛強做工，因為我與你們同在。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

你們倒要在我們的主和救主耶穌基督的恩典和知識上有長進。願榮耀歸給他，從今直到永遠之日。阿們！

只要剛強，大大壯膽，謹守遵行我僕人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏離左右，使你無論往哪裏去，都可以順利。
