Hide your face from my sins! Wipe away all my guilt!Create for me a pure heart, O God! Renew a resolute spirit within me!Do not reject me! Do not take your Holy Spirit away from me!Let me again experience the joy of your deliverance! Sustain me by giving me the desire to obey!Then I will teach rebels your merciful ways, and sinners will turn to you.

You know that I love you.” Jesus replied,“ Feed my sheep.

When they heard this, they praised God. Then they said to him,“ You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all ardent observers of the law.

but I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. When you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

But you have a few individuals in Sardis who have not stained their clothes, and they will walk with me dressed in white, because they are worthy.

I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father.

So the saying circulated among the brothers and sisters that this disciple was not going to die. But Jesus did not say to him that he was not going to die, but rather,“ If I want him to live until I come back, what concern is that of yours?”

He gave them another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.
