我就想起主所說的話：‘約翰用水施洗，但你們要受聖靈的洗。’

Then I remembered what the Lord had said:‘ John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

Then I remembered the Lord’s words.‘ John baptized with water,’ he had said.‘ But you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said,‘ John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

Then I thought of the Lord’s words when he said,‘ John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

我用水给你们施洗，他却要用圣灵给你们施洗。”

问他们说：“你们信的时候，受了圣灵没有？”他们说：“没有，连圣灵赐下来这件事，我们也没有听过。”保罗问：“那么你们受的是什么洗呢？”他们说：“是约翰的洗礼。”保罗说：“约翰施的是悔改的洗礼，他告诉人民当信在他以后要来的那一位，就是耶稣。”

约翰对众人说：“我用水给你们施洗，但那能力比我更大的要来，我就是给他解鞋带都没有资格。他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。

但保惠师，就是父因我的名要差来的圣灵，他要把一切事教导你们，也要使你们想起我对你们所说过的一切话。

你们要因我的责备回转，我就把我的心意（“心意”或译：“灵”）向你们倾吐，把我的话指示你们。

我用水给你们施洗，表示你们悔改；但在我以后要来的那一位，能力比我更大，我就是替他提鞋也没有资格。他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。

我们无论是犹太人，是希腊人，是作奴隶的，是自由的，都在那一位圣灵里受了洗，成为一个身体，都饮了那一位圣灵。

因为我要把水浇灌干渴之处，把河水浇灌干旱之地；我必把我的灵浇灌你的后裔，把我的福降给你的子孙。他们要从草中生长起来，像溪水旁的柳树。这个必说：‘我是属耶和华的’；那个也必以雅各的名称呼自己；另一个必亲手写上‘我是属耶和华的’，并且要以以色列的名字替自己命名。”

亲爱的，我现在写给你们的是第二封信。在这两封信中，我都用提醒的话来激发你们真诚的心，

“以后，我要把我的灵浇灌所有的人。你们的儿女要说预言，你们的老年人要作异梦，你们的少年人要见异象。

我把这些事告诉了你们，让你们到了那个时候，可以想起我告诉过你们了。“我起初没有把这些事告诉你们，因为我跟你们在一起。

到那日，大山都必滴下甜酒，小山都必流出奶，犹大的一切溪流，都必水流不息。必有泉源从耶和华的殿里流出来，灌溉什亭谷。

我必用洁净的水洒在你们身上，你们就洁净了；我必洁净你们的一切污秽，使你们远离所有可憎的像。

约翰回答：“我是用水施洗，但有一位站在你们中间，是你们不认识的；

我凡事以身作则，你们必须照样辛劳，扶助软弱的人，并且记念主耶稣的话：‘施比受更为有福。’”

她们就想起他的话，

我本来不认识他，但那差我来用水施洗的对我说：‘你看见圣灵降下来，停留在谁身上，谁就是用圣灵施洗的。’

他就救了我们，并不是由于我们所行的义，而是照着他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗和圣灵的更新。圣灵就是神藉着我们的救主耶稣基督丰丰富富浇灌在我们身上的，
