弟兄們，你們與猶太地區神的各教會，就是在基督耶穌裏的各教會，有同樣的遭遇，因為你們也受了同胞的迫害，像他們受了猶太人的迫害一樣。這些猶太人不但殺了主耶穌和先知們，又把我們趕出去。他們令神不悅，且與眾人為敵，阻撓我們傳道給外邦人，使他們得救，以致常常惡貫滿盈，但神的憤怒終於臨到他們身上。

暴怒的人挑啟爭端；忍怒的人止息紛爭。

心中貪婪的，挑起爭端；倚靠耶和華的，必得豐裕。

（只是從來沒有像亞哈的，因他受耶洗別王后的唆使，出賣自己，行了耶和華眼中看為惡的事。

但那不順從的猶太人煽動外邦人，使他們心裏仇恨弟兄。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們當着人的面把天國的門關了，自己不進去，要進去的人，你們也不容他們進去。

他們又煽動百姓、長老和文士，就突然來捉拿他，把他帶到議會去，

那七日將完，從亞細亞來的猶太人看見保羅在聖殿裏，就煽動所有的羣眾，下手拿住他，

你們以為我來是要使地上太平嗎？不！我告訴你們，是使人紛爭。

但不信的猶太人心裏嫉妒，聚集了些市井流氓，搭夥成羣，煽動全城的人闖進耶孫的家，要把保羅和西拉帶到民眾那裏。
