及旦、猶太人結黨誓而自呪曰、不殺保羅、不食不飲、同謀者四十餘人、乃詣祭司諸長與長老、曰、我儕已發重誓、不殺保羅、不進食也、今請偕同公會、告千夫長、明日曳之至爾前、若將詳究其情者、我儕已備、於其未至時殺之、

彼若曰、與我偕行、潛伏以流人血、無端隱伺無辜、

厥後、我入叙利亞基利家境、

既竟此事、保羅定意經馬其頓、亞該亞、往耶路撒冷、曰、至彼後、我亦必見羅馬矣、

蓋我民中有惡人、隱伏如獵禽者、設機以陷人、

遙望居比路右行而遇之、航至叙利亞、於推羅登岸、蓋舟於彼卸載也、
