於是大聲噪聒、有法利塞黨之經生數人、起而辯曰：『吾儕未見是人有何罪惡；安知無神靈或天神曾與之語耶？』

There was a great uproar, and some of the teachers of the law who were Pharisees stood up and argued vigorously.“ We find nothing wrong with this man,” they said.“ What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?”

And a great uproar occurred; and some of the scribes of the Pharisaic party stood up and started arguing heatedly, saying,“ We find nothing wrong with this man; suppose a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?”

Then there arose a loud outcry. And the scribes of the Pharisees’ party arose and protested, saying,“ We find no evil in this man; but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God.”

And there arose a great clamor: and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’ part stood up, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: and what if a spirit hath spoken to him, or an angel?

I found that the accusation had to do with questions about their law, but there was no charge against him that deserved death or imprisonment. (niv)

I found he had done nothing deserving of death, but because he made his appeal to the Emperor I decided to send him to Rome. (niv)

For the third time he spoke to them:“ Why? What crime has this man committed? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty. Therefore I will have him punished and then release him.” (niv)

But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” (niv)

and said to them,“ You brought me this man as one who was inciting the people to rebellion. I have examined him in your presence and have found no basis for your charges against him.Neither has Herod, for he sent him back to us; as you can see, he has done nothing to deserve death. (niv)

So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?” (niv)

When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them. (niv)

Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd,“ I find no basis for a charge against this man.” (niv)

Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he? (niv)

We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic,‘ Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’“ Then I asked,‘ Who are you, Lord?’“‘ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ the Lord replied.‘ Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to themto open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’“ So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven.
