亞基帕語葆樂曰：『吾之不被汝勸化、而為基督之徒也幾希！』

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”

Then Agrippa spoke to Paul.“ Are you trying to talk me into becoming a Christian?” he said.“ Do you think you can do that in such a short time?”

And Agrippa said to Paul,“ In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian?”

Agrippa interrupted him.“ Do you think you can persuade me to become a Christian so quickly?”

Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”

Agrippa replied to Paul,“ In a short time you are going to persuade me to make a Christian of myself.”

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

And Agrippa said unto Paul, With but little persuasion thou wouldest fain make me a Christian.

Then Agrippa said to Paul,“ Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily?”

Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.

Agrippa said to Paul,“ In such a short time are you persuading me to become a Christian?”

Agrippa said to Paul,“ With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?”

and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. (niv)

Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. (niv)

On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. (niv)

My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. (niv)

Paul replied,“ Short time or long— I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.” (niv)

As Paul talked about righteousness, self- control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said,“ That’s enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.” (niv)

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirrorand, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. (niv)

As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him.“ Good teacher,” he asked,“ what must I do to inherit eternal life?”“ Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered.“ No one is good— except God alone.You know the commandments:‘ You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, you shall not defraud, honor your father and mother.’”“ Teacher,” he declared,“ all these I have kept since I was a boy.”Jesus looked at him and loved him.“ One thing you lack,” he said.“ Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth. (niv)

However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. (niv)

because Herod feared John and protected him, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man. When Herod heard John, he was greatly puzzled; yet he liked to listen to him. (niv)
