“ How will this be,” Mary asked the angel,“ since I am a virgin?”The angel answered,“ The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. (niv)

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. (niv)

All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. (niv)

Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the Lord have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. But the centurion, instead of listening to what Paul said, followed the advice of the pilot and of the owner of the ship. (niv)

The soldiers planned to kill the prisoners to prevent any of them from swimming away and escaping.But the centurion wanted to spare Paul’s life and kept them from carrying out their plan. He ordered those who could swim to jump overboard first and get to land. (niv)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,“ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (niv)

The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.“ If you are the Son of God,” he said,“ throw yourself down from here.For it is written:“‘ He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully;they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”Jesus answered,“ It is said:‘ Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” (niv)
