看見門徒因風不順，搖櫓甚苦。夜裏約有四更天，就在海面上走，往他們那裏去，意思要走過他們去。

他們既被聖靈差遣，就下到西流基，從那裏坐船往塞浦路斯去。

有凱撒利亞的幾個門徒和我們同去，帶我們到一個久為門徒的家裏，叫我們與他同住；他名叫拿孫，是塞浦路斯人。

望見塞浦路斯，就從南邊行過，往敘利亞去，我們就在泰爾上岸，因為船要在那裏卸貨。

一連多日，船行得慢，僅僅來到革尼土的對面。因為被風攔阻，就貼着克里特背風岸，從撒摩尼對面行過。

那些因司提反的事遭患難四散的門徒直走到腓尼基和塞浦路斯，並安提阿；他們不向別人講道，只向猶太人講。但內中有塞浦路斯和古利奈人，他們到了安提阿也向希臘人傳講主耶穌。

於是二人起了爭論，甚至彼此分開。巴拿巴帶着馬可，坐船往塞浦路斯去；

那時船在海中，因風不順，被浪搖撼。
