彼得卻說：「金銀我都沒有，但我把我有的給你：奉拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名起來行走！」

那麼，你們大家和以色列全民都當知道，站在你們面前的這人得痊癒，是因你們所釘在十字架、神使他從死人中復活的拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名。

耶穌回答他們：「我實在告訴你們，你們若有信心，不疑惑，不但能行我對無花果樹所行的事，就是對這座山說：『離開此地，投在海裏！』也會實現。你們禱告，無論求甚麼，只要信，就必得着。」

他聽保羅講道；保羅定睛看他，見他有信心，可得痊癒，

她一連好幾天這樣喊叫，保羅就心中厭煩，轉身對那靈說：「我奉耶穌基督的名吩咐你從她身上出來！」那靈立刻出來了。

信的人將有神蹟隨着他們：就是奉我的名趕鬼；說新方言；手能拿蛇；若喝了甚麼毒物，也不會受害；手按病人，病人就好了。」〕〔

使徒對主說：「請加增我們的信心。」主說：「你們若有信心像一粒芥菜種，就是對這棵桑樹說：『你要連根拔起，栽在海裏』，它也會聽從你們。」

耶穌轉過來，看見她，就說：「女兒，放心！你的信救了你。」從那時起，這女人就痊癒了。

就跳起來，站着，又開始行走。他跟他們進了聖殿，邊走邊跳，讚美神。

門徒私下進前來問耶穌：「我們為甚麼不能趕出那鬼呢？」耶穌對他們說：「是因你們的信心小。我實在告訴你們，你們若有信心像一粒芥菜種，就是對這座山說：『你從這邊移到那邊』，它也會移過去，並且你們沒有一件不能做的事了。」

他們叫使徒站在中間，問他們：「你們憑甚麼能力，奉誰的名做這事呢？」

那時，有幾個巡迴各處念咒趕鬼的猶太人，擅自利用主耶穌的名，向那些被邪靈所附的人說：「我奉保羅所傳的耶穌命令你們出來！」做這事的是猶太祭司長士基瓦的七個兒子。但邪靈回答他們：「耶穌我知道，保羅我也認識，你們卻是誰呢？」被邪靈所附的人就撲到他們身上，制伏他們，勝過他們，使他們赤着身子，受了傷，從那房子裏逃出去了。凡住在以弗所的，無論是猶太人是希臘人，都知道這件事，也都懼怕；主耶穌的名從此就更被尊為大了。

「他是磐石，他的作為完全，他一切所行的都公平；他是信實無偽的神，又公義，又正直。

我若有先知講道的能力，也明白各樣的奧祕，各樣的知識，而且有齊備的信心，使我能夠移山，卻沒有愛，我就算不了甚麼。

耶穌回答：「你們對神要有信心。我實在告訴你們，無論何人對這座山說：『離開此地，投在海裏！』他心裏若不疑惑，只信所說的必成，就為他實現。

我實實在在地告訴你們，我所做的工作，信我的人也要做，並且要做得比這些更大，因為我到父那裏去。

人若在安息日受割禮，是為了不違背摩西的律法，我在安息日使一個人痊癒了，你們就向我發怒嗎？

伸出你的手來，讓醫治、神蹟、奇事藉着你聖僕耶穌的名行出來。」

在耶路撒冷的使徒聽見撒瑪利亞人領受了神的道，就打發彼得和約翰到他們那裏去。兩個人下去，就為他們禱告，要讓他們領受聖靈，因為聖靈還沒有降在他們任何一個人身上，他們只奉主耶穌的名受了洗。
