The time is coming when Jacob’s descendants will take root. Israel will bud and blossom and fill the whole earth with fruit!

Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I.

“ At that time I will put you on trial. I am eager to witness against all sorcerers and adulterers and liars. I will speak against those who cheat employees of their wages, who oppress widows and orphans, or who deprive the foreigners living among you of justice, for these people do not fear me,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him.

A widow who is put on the list for support must be a woman who is at least sixty years old and was faithful to her husband.

But if she has children or grandchildren, their first responsibility is to show godliness at home and repay their parents by taking care of them. This is something that pleases God.Now a true widow, a woman who is truly alone in this world, has placed her hope in God. She prays night and day, asking God for his help.
