They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge. In the house of their god they drink wine taken as fines.

They lie down beside every altar on clothes they have taken. They lie on those clothes until the owner pays back what is owed. In the house of their God they drink wine that was paid as fines.

如果他是穷人，用自己的外袍作抵押，你们不可把他的外袍留到第二天，要在当天日落之前还给他，好让他盖着外袍睡觉。他会因此祝福你们，你们的上帝耶和华也会将此视为你们的义行。“不可欺压穷苦的雇工，不论他们是你们的同胞，还是住在你们城中的外族人。你们要在每天日落前付给他们工钱，因为他们穷苦，靠工钱维生；否则他们向耶和华控诉你们，你们就有罪了。“不可因孩子犯罪而处死父亲，也不可因父亲犯罪而处死孩子。各人要自负罪责。“你们要公正地对待寄居者和孤儿，不可拿寡妇的衣物作抵押。

倘若他把衣服给你作抵押，你要在日落之前把衣服还给他。因为他只有这件蔽体的衣服，若是没有，他晚上如何睡觉？他若呼求我，我必定帮助他，因为我是仁慈的。

你们以大碗狂饮，用上等膏油抹身，却漠不关心约瑟家的衰亡。

住在撒玛利亚山上的巴珊肥母牛啊，你们要听！你们压榨贫寒人，欺凌穷苦人，又使唤丈夫倒酒畅饮。

示剑人出城到田间采摘葡萄，踩榨葡萄汁，然后在他们的神庙中欢宴，尽情吃喝，咒诅亚比米勒。

坐在华丽的床上，面前的桌子上摆设着我的香料和膏油。

你们祭司借我子民的赎罪祭自肥，满心希望他们犯罪。

不欺压人，反而退还债户的抵押品；不抢夺财物，反而给饥饿的人食物吃，给赤身露体的人衣服穿；

也不要像他们当中的人那样去祭拜偶像，正如圣经上说：“百姓坐下吃喝，起来狂欢。”

欺压贫穷困苦的人，抢夺财物，扣留债户的抵押品，祭拜偶像，犯罪作恶，

如果有人看见你这明白以上道理的人竟然坐在偶像的庙中吃喝，他虽然良心不安，岂不还是会放胆吃献给偶像的祭物吗？

你们躺在象牙床上，靠在卧榻上，你们吃养在圈里的肥嫩牛羊。

你们不能又喝主的杯又喝鬼魔的杯，不能又吃主的圣餐又吃祭鬼魔的食物。

你们在高山上淫乱、献祭，
