撒玛利亚山上的巴珊母牛啊！要听这话；你们欺负贫穷人，压迫穷苦人，又对自己的丈夫说：“拿酒来，给我们饮用。”

Hear this word, you cows of Bashan on Mount Samaria, you women who oppress the poor and crush the needy and say to your husbands,“ Bring us some drinks!”

Listen to the Lord’ s message, you women who live on the hill of Samaria. You treat poor people badly. You crush those who are in need. You say to your husbands,“ Bring us some drinks!” But you are already as fat as the cows in Bashan.

“ Hear this word, you cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Samaria, who oppress the poor, who crush the needy, who say to your husbands,‘ Bring, that we may drink!’

Listen to me, you fat cows living in Samaria, you women who oppress the poor and crush the needy, and who are always calling to your husbands,“ Bring us another drink!”

Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, that oppress the poor, that crush the needy, that say unto their lords, Bring, and let us drink.

Listen to this message, you cows of Bashan who live on Mount Samaria! You oppress the poor; you crush the needy. You say to your husbands,“ Bring us more to drink!”

許多公牛圍繞我，巴珊的壯牛圍困我。

現在來吧，你們這些富有的人哪！應當為那些將要臨到你們的慘禍而痛哭、哀號！你們的財富腐爛了；你們的衣服被蟲蛀了；你們的金銀也生鏽了，這鏽將成為控告你們的見證，又要像火那樣吃你們的肉。在這末後的日子裡，你們竟然積蓄財富！看哪！工人收割你們的田地，你們所剋扣他們的工錢正在呼叫，收割者的冤聲也已經達到萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在地上奢侈生活、享樂度日，為宰殺的日子養肥了自己的心！你們把義人定了罪、把他殺害了，他沒有抗拒你們。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們施行審判；我要快快作證控告那些行巫術的、通姦的、起假誓的、在工酬上欺壓雇工的、欺壓孤兒寡婦的、屈枉寄居者的，以及不敬畏我的！

不要欺壓寡婦、孤兒、寄居者和困苦人，各人不要在心裡向自己的兄弟謀劃惡事。』然而，他們不肯留心聽，竟扭轉頑梗的肩頭，充耳不聞；

耶和華說：「因為困苦人所受的迫害和貧窮人的呻吟，我現在要挺身而起，把他們安置在他們渴望的穩妥之地。」

我轉眼又看到在日光之下所行的一切欺壓。看哪，受欺壓者流淚，無人安慰他們！權勢在欺壓他們的人手中，卻無人安慰受欺壓者！

我知道耶和華為困苦人施行判決，也為貧窮人施行公正。

禍哉！你們這樣的人！你們使房屋連著房屋，田地接著田地，以致沒有多餘的空間，好獨自居住在那地當中。

我所喜悅的禁食，難道不是以下這樣嗎？鬆開邪惡的鎖鏈，解開軛上的繩索，使被壓迫的人得自由，折斷一切的軛，

學習行善，尋求公正，指責欺壓者，給孤兒伸冤，為寡婦辯屈！」耶和華說：「來吧，讓我們彼此理論；你們的罪雖像朱紅，必潔白如雪；雖赤如丹紅，必白如羊毛。如果你們願意聽從，就必吃地上的美物；但如果你們拒絕、悖逆，就必被刀劍吞噬。」這是耶和華親口說的。忠信的城竟然變為妓女！這城從前充滿公正，有公義居於其中，現在卻只有殺人凶手。你的銀子成了渣滓，你的酒摻了水。你的首領們悖逆，與盜賊同夥；他們都貪愛賄賂，追逐贓酬；他們不為孤兒伸冤；寡婦的爭訟也達不到他們面前。因此，主萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者宣告：「啊！我要向我的敵人雪恨，向我的仇敵施行報復！

不要因為貧弱者貧弱，就搶奪他，也不要在城門口壓迫困苦人；因為耶和華會為他們辯護，並要奪去那些搶奪者的性命。

如果你在某一省中看到窮人受欺壓，公正和公義被奪去，不要因此感到驚奇，因為高位者之上有更高的在保護他，在他們之上還有更高的保護他們。

你不要挪移古時的地界，也不要侵入孤兒的田地；因為他們的救贖主大有能力，他必為他們辯護對付你。
