爾其往甲尼而觀、自彼至哈馬大邑、下至非利士之迦特、其邑豈愈於此國乎、其境豈廣於爾境乎、

可往甲尼至哈末大邑、又至非利士人迦特、徧加巡察、豈有他國、較此國尤尊榮、豈有他境、較爾境尤延袤、

可往甲尼而察、自彼往哈末大邑、又下至非利士人之迦特、見彼諸地較此二國尤佳乎、彼之境較爾之境尤廣乎、

Go to Kalneh and look at it; go from there to great Hamath, and then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are they better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours?

Go and look at the city of Kalneh. Go from there to the great city of Hamath. Then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are those places better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours?

Pass over to Calneh, and see, and from there go to Hamath the great; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms? Or is their territory greater than your territory,

But go over to Calneh and see what happened there. Then go to the great city of Hamath and down to the Philistine city of Gath. You are no better than they were, and look at how they were destroyed.

Cross over to Calneh and see; go from there to great Hamath; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms? Is their territory larger than yours?

They say to the people:“ Journey over to Calneh and look at it! Then go from there to Hamath-Rabbah! Then go down to Gath of the Philistines! Are they superior to our two kingdoms? Is their territory larger than yours?”

Go to Calneh, and see; and from there go to Hamath the great; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. are they better than these kingdoms? or is their border greater than your border?

你岂比挪亚们强呢？挪亚们坐落在众河之间，周围有水；海作她的濠沟，又作她的城墙。

他国的起头是巴别、以力、亚甲、甲尼，都在示拿地。

哈马、亚珥拔的神在哪里呢？西法瓦音、希拿、以瓦的神在哪里呢？他们曾救撒玛利亚脱离我的手吗？

他出去攻击非利士人，拆毁了迦特城、雅比尼城，和亚实突城；在非利士人中，在亚实突境内，又建筑了些城。

从非利士营中出来一个讨战的人，名叫歌利亚，是迦特人，身高六肘零一虎口；

迦勒挪岂不像迦基米施吗？哈马岂不像亚珥拔吗？撒玛利亚岂不像大马士革吗？我手已经够到有偶像的国；这些国雕刻的偶像过于耶路撒冷和撒玛利亚的偶像。我怎样待撒玛利亚和其中的偶像，岂不照样待耶路撒冷和其中的偶像吗？”

你们要谨防，恐怕希西家劝导你们说：耶和华必拯救我们。列国的神有哪一个救他本国脱离亚述王的手呢？哈马和亚珥拔的神在哪里呢？西法瓦音的神在哪里呢？他们曾救撒玛利亚脱离我的手吗？

与他们说话的时候，那讨战的，就是属迦特的非利士人歌利亚，从非利士队中出来，说从前所说的话；大卫都听见了。

亚述王从巴比伦、古他、亚瓦、哈马，和西法瓦音迁移人来，安置在撒玛利亚的城邑，代替以色列人；他们就得了撒玛利亚，住在其中。

巴比伦人造疏割比讷像；古他人造匿甲像；哈马人造亚示玛像；

你们且过到基提海岛去察看，打发人往基达去留心查考，看曾有这样的事没有。岂有一国换了他的神吗？其实这不是神！但我的百姓将他们的荣耀换了那无益的神。

“人子啊，你要向埃及王法老和他的众人说：在威势上谁能与你相比呢？亚述王曾如黎巴嫩中的香柏树，枝条荣美，影密如林，极其高大，树尖插入云中。

哈马的王、亚珥拔的王、西法瓦音城的王、希拿，和以瓦的王都在哪里呢？’”

那时，所罗门和以色列众人，就是从哈马口直到埃及小河所有的以色列人，都聚集成为大会，在耶和华我们的神面前守节七日又七日，共十四日。

我列祖所毁灭的，就是歌散、哈兰、利色，和属提拉撒的伊甸人；这些国的神何曾拯救这些国呢？哈马的王，亚珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪里呢？’”
