爾其往甲尼而觀、自彼至哈馬大邑、下至非利士之迦特、其邑豈愈於此國乎、其境豈廣於爾境乎、

可往甲尼至哈末大邑、又至非利士人迦特、徧加巡察、豈有他國、較此國尤尊榮、豈有他境、較爾境尤延袤、

可往甲尼而察、自彼往哈末大邑、又下至非利士人之迦特、見彼諸地較此二國尤佳乎、彼之境較爾之境尤廣乎、

Go to Kalneh and look at it; go from there to great Hamath, and then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are they better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours?

Go and look at the city of Kalneh. Go from there to the great city of Hamath. Then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are those places better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours?

Pass over to Calneh, and see, and from there go to Hamath the great; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms? Or is their territory greater than your territory,

But go over to Calneh and see what happened there. Then go to the great city of Hamath and down to the Philistine city of Gath. You are no better than they were, and look at how they were destroyed.

Cross over to Calneh and see; go from there to great Hamath; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms? Is their territory larger than yours?

They say to the people:“ Journey over to Calneh and look at it! Then go from there to Hamath-Rabbah! Then go down to Gath of the Philistines! Are they superior to our two kingdoms? Is their territory larger than yours?”

你能勝過挪亞們嗎？它坐落在眾河之間，周圍有水，海作它的城郭，海作它的城牆。

他王國的開始是在巴別、以力、亞甲、甲尼，都在示拿地。

哈馬、亞珥拔的神明在哪裏呢？西法瓦音、希拿、以瓦的神明在哪裏呢？它們曾救撒瑪利亞脫離我的手嗎？

他出去攻擊非利士人，拆毀了迦特、雅比尼和亞實突的城牆，又在非利士人中，在亞實突境內建築城鎮。

從非利士營中出來一個挑戰的人，名叫歌利亞，是迦特人，身高六肘一虎口。

迦勒挪豈不像迦基米施嗎？哈馬豈不像亞珥拔嗎？撒瑪利亞豈不像大馬士革嗎？既然我的手已伸到了這些有偶像的國，他們所雕刻的偶像過於耶路撒冷和撒瑪利亞的偶像，我豈不照樣待耶路撒冷和其中的偶像，如同我待撒瑪利亞和其中的偶像嗎？」

恐怕希西家誤導你們說，耶和華必拯救我們。列國的神明有哪一個曾救它本國脫離亞述王的手呢？哈馬和亞珥拔的神明在哪裏呢？西法瓦音的神明在哪裏呢？它們曾救撒瑪利亞脫離我的手嗎？

他與他們說話的時候，看哪，那挑戰的人，就是迦特的非利士人歌利亞，從非利士隊伍中上來，說了同樣的話，大衛聽見了。

亞述王從巴比倫、古他、亞瓦、哈馬和西法瓦音遷移人來，安置在撒瑪利亞的城鎮，代替以色列人；他們就佔據了撒瑪利亞，住在城中。

巴比倫人造疏割‧比訥像；古他人造匿甲像；哈馬人造亞示瑪像；

你們且渡到基提海島察看，派人往基達去留心查考，看可曾有過這樣的事。豈有一國換了它的神明嗎？其實那不是神明！但我的百姓將他們的榮耀換了那無益的東西。

「人子啊，你要對埃及王法老和他的軍隊說：論到你的強盛，誰能與你相比呢？看哪，亞述是黎巴嫩的香柏樹，枝條榮美，蔭密如林，極其高大，樹頂高聳入雲。

哈馬的王，亞珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪裏呢？』」

那時所羅門守節，從哈馬口直到埃及溪谷的以色列眾人都與他同在一起，成了一個盛大的會，在耶和華－我們的神面前七日又七日，共十四日。

我祖先所毀滅的，就是歌散、哈蘭、利色和提‧拉撒的伊甸人；這些國的神明何曾拯救他們呢？哈馬的王，亞珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪裏呢？』」
