he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. (niv)

And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. (niv)

Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. (niv)

and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, (niv)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (niv)
