你们从前与神隔绝，因着恶行，心里与他为敌。

从前你们与上帝隔绝，心思上与他为敌，行为邪恶；

从前你们与神隔绝，心思上与他为敌，行为邪恶；

你们从前与上帝隔绝，行事邪恶，心思意念与祂为敌；

虽然你们从前也是和神隔绝，心思上与他为敌，行为邪恶，

从前，你们在邪恶的行为中与神隔绝，在意念中与他为敌；

你們從前與神隔絕，因着惡行，心裏與他為敵。

從前你們與上帝隔絕，心思上與他為敵，行為邪惡；

從前你們與神隔絕，心思上與他為敵，行為邪惡；

你們從前與上帝隔絕，行事邪惡，心思意念與祂為敵；

雖然你們從前也是和神隔絕，心思上與他為敵，行為邪惡，

你們呢、你們素來在心神上因邪惡的行為被隔絕而做仇敵的、

從前，你們在邪惡的行為中與神隔絕，在意念中與他為敵；

夫爾素以惡行、為異為敵於心、

爾素行惡、厥心悖逆、不附上帝、

爾素遠離、因爾行惡、心中與之為敵、

爾等前因惡業向與天主睽隔；

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.

At one time you were separated from God. You were enemies in your minds because of your evil ways.

And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,

This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions.

Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds as expressed in your evil actions.

And although you were previously alienated and hostile in attitude, engaged in evil deeds,

And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled

And you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,

Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil actions.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in[ your] mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

And you were at one time strangers and enemies in your minds as expressed through your evil deeds,

You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds,

remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. (niv)

At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. (niv)

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. (niv)

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! (niv)

To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good. (niv)

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with mennor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (niv)

slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; (niv)

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. (niv)

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, (niv)

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. (niv)
