即爾等之領受割禮、亦在基督之中：惟斯割禮非以人手為之、乃克己去欲之基督割禮也。

In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ,

When you received Christ, your circumcision was not done by human hands. Instead, your circumcision was done by Christ. He put away the person you used to be. At that time, sin’s power ruled over you.

In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,

When you came to Christ, you were“ circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision— the cutting away of your sinful nature.

隱為猶太人者、是誠猶太人、心之割禮、是真割禮、蓋在內心、不在儀文、其稱譽非由人、乃由天主、

我儕心事天主、以基督耶穌為誇、不恃外貌、外貌原文作肉軀下同是真受割禮者、

蓋知我儕舊日之我、舊日之我原文作本體之舊人與之同釘十字架、以滅罪身、使我儕不復為罪所役、

凡屬基督者、已滅肉體之情欲、如釘之十字架、

主爾之天主將潔爾心及爾後裔之心、使爾愛主爾之天主、可以得生、

當去爾前行、脫爾舊人、即被惑人之嗜慾見壞者、

蓋基督非入手造之聖所、即真聖所之影像、乃實入於天、今為我儕立於天主前、

是故人在基督、則為新造之人、舊事已逝、一切更新、

故當去爾心之情慾、勿復強項、

我與基督同釘於十字架、而我仍生、非我生、乃基督在我內而生、且今我在身而生、乃以信天主子而生、彼曾愛我、為我舍己者也、

今當去此一切、以及忿怒、怨恨、暴戾、謗讟並口中淫穢之詞、彼此勿誑言、蓋爾已脫舊人與其所行、而衣以新人、

今基督已至、為將來美事之大祭司、由更大更全之幕、非人手所造、不屬此世者、

蓋我儕為天主所造、在基督內被造者、使我得行善事、即天主預定我儕所當行者也、○故爾曹當記憶、爾按本身昔為異邦人、彼稱為受割禮之人、即身受手行之割禮者、譏爾曹未受割禮、當時爾與基督相離、在以色列民中無分、與所應許之諸約無與、無有所望、處世而無天主、今因基督耶穌、爾素為遠者、賴基督之血得近矣、基督使我儕得和、使二者為一、毀中隔之墻垣、彼以其身、廢冤仇之由、即教守儀文之律法、欲於己身使二者成為一新造之人、如是、使之得和、且以其十字架、使二者聯為一體、與天主復和、以冤仇消滅於己身、或作蓋以其十字架消滅冤仇使二者聯為一體與天主復和且來傳和平之福音、傳於爾遠者近者、蓋我二者由彼賴一聖神得近於天父、

猶大人、耶路撒冷居民歟、當於主前斷慾潔心、若受割禮、恐因爾所行之惡、我盛怒發如烈火、炎炎焚燒、無人能滅、

夫造宇宙及其中萬物之天主、乃天地之主宰、不居手造之殿、

我知此我屬地之幕屋既壞、則有天主所造、非人手所造之屋、永遠在天、

期日既滿、天主遣其子由女而生、服於律法下、以贖律法下之人、使我眾得為子、

八日既滿、為嬰兒行割禮、命名耶穌、即未孕之先、天使所稱者、

然至上者不居手造之殿、如先知所言、

我儕聞彼言云、此殿乃人手所作、我將毀之、三日別建一殿、非人手所作者、
