When you were baptized, you were buried together with Christ. And you were raised to life together with him when you were baptized. You were raised to life by believing in God’s work. God himself raised Jesus from the dead.

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ( by grace you have been saved),and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers and sisters.Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

But the fact is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.

He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?”Jesus answered,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit.Do not be amazed that I said to you,‘ You must be born again.’

When they had arrived and gathered the church together, they began to report all the things that God had done with them and how He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.

The apostles said to the Lord,“ Increase our faith!”

Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God.For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of indecent behavior, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and wanton idolatries.
