He prays that you will keep growing in your knowledge of what God wants. He also prays that you will be completely sure about it.

but now he has reconciled you by his physical body through death to present you holy, without blemish, and blameless before him–

Now we do speak wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are perishing.

If anyone wants to serve me, he must follow me, and where I am, my servant will be too. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking. Instead, be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, set things right, be encouraged, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

But I myself am fully convinced about you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another.

We proclaim him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ.

So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Now to the one who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before his glorious presence,

Not that I have already attained this– that is, I have not already been perfected– but I strive to lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus also laid hold of me.Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single- minded: Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead,with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.Therefore let those of us who are“ perfect” embrace this point of view. If you think otherwise, God will reveal to you the error of your ways.

Masters, treat your slaves with justice and fairness, because you know that you also have a master in heaven.Be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.

Do not touch!”These are all destined to perish with use, founded as they are on human commands and teachings.Even though they have the appearance of wisdom with their self- imposed worship and false humility achieved by an unsparing treatment of the body– a wisdom with no true value– they in reality result in fleshly indulgence.
