And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.

My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense.”

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

And Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord spoke, saying:‘ By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.’” So Aaron held his peace.

O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge—

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.

for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry.”

“ And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.In controversy they shall stand as judges, and judge it according to My judgments. They shall keep My laws and My statutes in all My appointed meetings, and they shall hallow My Sabbaths.

And you shall attend to the duties of the sanctuary and the duties of the altar, that there may be no more wrath on the children of Israel.

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate,that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,

Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
