Then one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing before me,“ I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my lord, and I feel very weak.

Then someone who looked like a man touched my lips. I opened my mouth. I began to speak to the one who was standing in front of me. I said,“ My master, I’m greatly troubled because of the vision I’ve seen. And I feel very weak.

And behold, one in the likeness of the children of man touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke. I said to him who stood before me,“ O my lord, by reason of the vision pains have come upon me, and I retain no strength.

Then the one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing in front of me,“ I am filled with anguish because of the vision I have seen, my lord, and I am very weak.

Suddenly one with human likeness touched my lips. I opened my mouth and said to the one standing in front of me,“ My lord, because of the vision, anguish overwhelms me and I am powerless.

And behold, one who resembled a human was touching my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who was standing before me,“ My lord, due to the vision anguish has come upon me, and I have retained no strength.

And suddenly, one having the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke, saying to him who stood before me,“ My Lord, because of the vision my sorrows have overwhelmed me, and I have retained no strength.

And, behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I retain no strength.

And, behold,[ one] like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

Then one who appeared to be a human being was touching my lips. I opened my mouth and started to speak, saying to the one who was standing before me,“ Sir, due to the vision, anxiety has gripped me and I have no strength.

Behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth, and spoke and said to him who stood before me,“ My lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows have overtaken me, and I retain no strength.

With it he touched my mouth and said,“ See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” (niv)

While I, Daniel, was watching the vision and trying to understand it, there before me stood one who looked like a man. (niv)

Now the evening before the man arrived, the hand of the Lord was on me, and he opened my mouth before the man came to me in the morning. So my mouth was opened and I was no longer silent. (niv)

I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked,“ My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” (niv)

“ Neither,” he replied,“ but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him,“ What message does my Lord have for his servant?” (niv)

How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe.”Again the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. (niv)

while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. (niv)

So I was left alone, gazing at this great vision; I had no strength left, my face turned deathly pale and I was helpless.Then I heard him speaking, and as I listened to him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground.A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. (niv)

For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. (niv)
