二王居心行惡、同席言誑、然所謀不成、迨及所定之期、其事乃終、

二王各懷異志、筵宴之間、誑辭是尚、所謀不利、蓋末期未至、

斯二王心懷惡意、同席筵宴、偽言和好、然謀不能成、因此事必至所定之期、始可了然、

The two kings, with their hearts bent on evil, will sit at the same table and lie to each other, but to no avail, because an end will still come at the appointed time.

The kings of Syria and Egypt will sit at the same table. But in their hearts they will plan to do what is evil. And they will tell lies to each other. But it will not do them any good. God will put an end to their plans at his appointed time.

And as for the two kings, their hearts shall be bent on doing evil. They shall speak lies at the same table, but to no avail, for the end is yet to be at the time appointed.

人人謊話連篇，花言巧語，口是心非。

耶和華說：「他們鼓舌如簧，射出謊言，遍地充滿詭詐，毫無誠實；他們行惡不斷，不認我是上帝。你們要提防鄰居，不要信賴弟兄，因為弟兄詭計多端，鄰居滿口是非。他們彼此欺騙，不說真話；他們說謊成性，不知疲倦地肆意犯罪；

有些智者將被害，但這是為了熬煉、淨化他們，使他們潔白無瑕，一直到末了。因為結局必在所定的時間到來。

他們圖謀不義之事，認為策劃得無懈可擊。人心真是狡猾。

這啟示實現的日期還沒到，它是關於末後的事，沒有虛假。即使緩慢，也要等候，因為這事終必發生，不再遲延。

不要吃吝嗇人的飯，不可貪圖他的美味。因為他總是精於算計，嘴上說「請吃，請喝」，心裡卻另有盤算。你必嘔出所吃的那點飯，你說的美言都必枉費。

對我說：「我要告訴你將來上帝發烈怒時所發生的事，因為這異象是關於那定好的末後時期。

「到了末後，南方王必與北方王交戰。北方王必率領戰車、騎兵和大批戰船攻擊他，又如洪水般橫掃列國。

不，你們心中圖謀不義，你們在地上行兇作惡。

勇士啊，你為何以作惡為榮？上帝的慈愛永遠長存。

圖謀惡事的心懷詭詐，勸人和睦的喜樂洋溢。

火熱的嘴，邪惡的心，猶如瓦器鍍了層銀。

七月，王室宗親、猶大王的大臣、以利沙瑪的孫子、尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利帶著十個人去米斯巴見亞希甘的兒子基大利。趁在米斯巴一同吃飯的時候，尼探雅的兒子以實瑪利和同來的十個人突然起來拔刀殺了巴比倫王委任管理猶大的沙番的孫子、亞希甘的兒子基大利，還殺了所有在米斯巴與基大利在一起的猶大人和那裡的迦勒底士兵。

人心中有許多計劃，唯耶和華的旨意成就。

弟兄姊妹，這件事會在什麼日期、什麼時候發生，不必我寫信告訴你們，

「你要告訴他們，主耶和華這樣說，『這樹能長得枝繁葉茂嗎？難道那鷹不把它連根拔起，摘掉它的果子，使樹和嫩葉全部枯萎嗎？不必費多大力氣，也不需要多少人就可以把它連根拔起。

波斯王塞魯士執政第三年，但以理，又名伯提沙撒，得到啟示。這啟示是真實的，是關於一場大爭戰的事。但以理通過異象明白了啟示的意思。

押沙龍說：「倘若王不去，求你叫我兄弟暗嫩去吧。」大衛說：「何必要他同去呢？」

耶穌回答說：「天父照祂的權柄定下的時間、日期不是你們可以知道的。

「到了所定的時間，他必再次攻打南方，但結果與上次不同，

因為祂已經定了日子，要藉祂所設立的人按公義審判這個世界。祂叫那人從死裡復活，給了全人類可信的憑據。」

卑賤人不過是一絲氣息，尊貴人不過是一場幻影，把他們放在天平上一秤，比空氣還輕，毫無分量。
