He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

He asked them to pray that the God of heaven would give him mercy. He wanted God to help him understand the mystery of the king’s dream. Then he and his friends wouldn’t be killed along with Babylon’s other wise men.

『你求告我，我就應允你，並將你所不知道、又大又隱密的事指示你。

並要在患難之日求告我，我必搭救你，你也要榮耀我。」

假若這五十個義人少了五個，你就因為少了五個而毀滅全城嗎？」他說：「我在那裏若找到四十五個，就不毀滅。」

大衛又說：「耶和華救我脫離獅子和熊的爪，他必救我脫離這非利士人的手。」掃羅對大衛說：「你去吧！耶和華必與你同在。」

那時你們必再一次看出義人和惡人，事奉神和不事奉神的人有何差別。」

或許耶和華－你的神聽見亞述將軍的話，就是他主人亞述王差他來辱罵永生神的話，耶和華－你的神就斥責所聽見的這些話。求你為倖存的餘民揚聲禱告。』」

惟有主站在我身邊，加給我力量，使我能把福音完整地傳開，讓所有的外邦人都聽見；我也從獅子口裏被救出來。主必救我脫離一切的兇惡，也必救我進他的天國。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

以斯帖吩咐人回覆末底改說：「你當去召集書珊所有的猶太人，為我禁食三晝三夜，不吃不喝；我和我的宮女也要這樣禁食。然後我違例去晉見王，我若死就死吧！」於是末底改照以斯帖一切所吩咐的去做。

「一個人若有一百隻羊，其中一隻走迷了路，你們的意見如何？他豈不留下這九十九隻在山上，去找那隻迷路的羊嗎？

那麼，主知道搭救敬虔的人脫離試煉，把不義的人留在懲罰之下等候審判的日子，

希律捉了彼得，押在監裏，交給四班士兵看守，每班四個人，企圖要在逾越節後把他提出來，當着百姓辦他。

他們聽見了，就同心合意地高聲向神說：「主宰啊！你是那創造天、地、海和其中萬物的；你曾藉着聖靈託你僕人－我們祖宗大衛的口說：『外邦為甚麼擾動？萬民為甚麼謀算虛妄的事？地上的君王都站穩，臣宰也聚集一處，要對抗主，對抗主的受膏者。』希律和本丟‧彼拉多，同外邦人和以色列民，果然在這城裏聚集，要攻打你所膏的聖僕耶穌，做了你手和你旨意所預定必成就的事。主啊，現在求你鑒察，他們的威嚇，使你僕人放膽講你的道，伸出你的手來，讓醫治、神蹟、奇事藉着你聖僕耶穌的名行出來。」他們禱告完了，聚會的地方震動；他們都被聖靈充滿，放膽傳講神的道。

弟兄們，我藉着我們的主耶穌基督，又藉着聖靈的愛，勸你們與我一同竭力為我祈求神，

你要專心仰賴耶和華，不可倚靠自己的聰明，在你一切所行的路上都要認定他，他必使你的道路平直。

即便如此，我們所事奉的神能將我們從烈火的窰中救出來。王啊，他必救我們脫離你的手；
